Family Reunion bugged?

Has anyone run into what appears to be a bug during the Family Reunion quest where the door will not open at the point where you're supposed to talk to High Councilor Meriath after stopping Veya? I have the option to interact with the door, my character makes the animation of opening said door, but it doesn't open.

✭Ok, so I've figured it out. I was using a pet, and somehow, he aggro'd Veya BEFORE Naryu could unlock the door. Instead of encountering Veya in the room where the Councilor and Veya's father were meeting, she would attack through the door and I would kill her before she killed her father and before Naryu could pick the lock and open the door. I reset the instance again and went through with no pet and encountered no issues. Sorc pets completely screwing something up. Shocking, I know.

RedBull_IR✭✭Same happened to me but with AOE that was causing agro from when it was cast on the top floor. Specifically wall of elements from the destruction skill line. Seems like this should be reported as a bug.0
