So i have Morrowind CE and was really happy to get the style conversion to replace my drop set's god awful skin but its not letting me convert ANY of the pieces i have on? What gives? I could swear the description said it'd let me convert crafted sets and most dropped sets but as of yet i haven't found a single drop set that i had in my bank that's convertible? Is it bugged or something?

@ZOS_GinaBruno Can the description on the converter be changed so it clearly states drop sets cannot be converted? The description as it is now is extremely misleading.

Is the armor you trying to convert locked? Unlock it and you should be good.

Either the armor is locked or what you are wearing is dropped set items. Those are designed to drop as a specific motiff and can't be changed so it fits the story behind the armor.

Any other random drop item and crafted items can be changed

Style conversions offer very few dropped items to convert.

There basically for crafted stuff which is why lots of people want transmog not those conversions. They just become pointless really quickly.

oh that's just beyond stupid.... 1/2 the reason i got CE was so i could get rid of my drop set's fugly skin... i agree with you @Ubung this is pretty damn pointless if you can only convert stuff you make. if i wanted to use crafted sets I'd make one in a style i liked and wouldn't need the conversion but I don't because crafted sets are just junk compared to most of the drop ones

Item conversion is pretty much only good for non set drops and crafted

Welcome to the silliness of the style converters.

Why do people want to convert armor? Usually because they picked up mismatched drop sets that they find ugly. What do they not need to convert? Usually crafted sets since they made them in the style they wanted in the first place.

What does ZOS allow you to convert? Crafted sets. What can't be converted? Drop sets. See - silly.

@ZOS_GinaBruno - is there any plan to open drop sets to conversion? This is what people want...it doesn't seem like,there's a technical reason these are locked from conversion.

Crafted sets and non set bonus. Same as for Imperial since launch.

Cant convert Set Pieces for some arcane and stoopid reason that only ZeniMax knows... But I'm willing to bet we will be able to 'purchase' transmog materials from the CS in the future that will allow us to do this.

There is just too many awesome sets in game to be stuck looking like a toad in mishmash gear.

If your character knows the motif and can craft up to the level of gear you are wearing you should not only be able to re-trait and item, but you should be able to transmog using a number of Motif fragments or stones or w/e they are called and some mats for the level of gear.

I for one am not a fan of the Monster Set pieces, I think they are all ugly... and one shoulder pad? Seriously? Dumb. So I play in crafted gear and enjoy the look of my character and will continue to do so until a transmog system is introduced that includes set pieces.

I am so happy that I didn't buy the CE since viper,veli and master weaps are all dropped.
