Sub every 6 months for a month to fill you craft bag job done..Talon_Draconis wrote: »I am thing hard weather if I am going to keep subbing ESO plus
Morrowind is DLC should be free with the sub or at least available with crowns!
While I think ESO is the best MMO out there right now I really can't support there marketing strategy
As far as the ESO plus the only thing that has any real value is the bag and access to dlc now they are calling DLC expantions and using that as a excuse for a cash grab
With the $50 dollars they want for morrowind I could get whole other game
Crowns are useless except to buy dlc there is nothing worth buying in the store.
I assume Morrowind will eventually become available once zmax squeezes as much cash as it can from players
I find this detestable and makes me want to not renew my sub in protest!
I hope that zmax corrects this asp and puts Morrowind as regular dlc which it is ! and does not repeat this blatant cash grab again!

I agree that is why I did not buy the Imperial version
But they eventually put it on the crown store and bought it with crowns....hoping they will do the same with morrowind
The main problem I am having is the way they are going about it.
Marketing Morrowind as an expatiation an not even putting in the crown store so to force us to pay $50 cash when we support them with our subs is a ripoff !
Calling Morrwind an expansion and not including it in the sub is screwing us over
Since this became clear months ago one wonders why you left it till now to whine about it.Talon_Draconis wrote: »I am thing hard weather if I am going to keep subbing ESO plus

I am not complaining about the cost really
What I am complaining about is the way Zmax is going about it.
They are force me to shell out another $50 bucks cash when I already gave them about $200 so far extra for content that should have been included in my sub.
I pay my sub to support continued development of the game in effect prepaying for dlc which they promised.

They are not forcing you to. You can choose to or not to and that is regardless of your sub status.
Also, no sub benefits are permanent and forever iirc and they all vanish when you leave the sub - tho some retain partial function.
Sub is paying for "benefit now" or "benefit while subbed" and like everything else you agreed to "the future" is all subject to change.
if you did not get from the agreements you clicked that they can change things in the future without your consent... you need to re-read.
if you did get that and you are now upset at a change announced six month ahead of time... you need to re-think.
Unless you happened to buy a six month sub during the small window between jan 6 and feb 6ish when they announced morrowind and its "chapter" price, then you were never screwed... your bought subscriptions ran full course with the benefits.
if you bought a sub AFTER the announcement then you should have known what you were getting.
If you are upset that ZOS gave you an almost full six months lead time to this sub change to decide your course, becausethat is the "way Zmax is going about it."
they gave you almost an entire six months to assess and evaluate before it affected you.
Very few landlords have to give that much warning to their tenants and that is just, you know, a roof over your head level of importance.
In the US a brand new law can take effect within 90 days, not nearly six months.
You agreed they can change things and for this change they gave you almost six months lead... yeah... horrible business practice... so meany-jerky, bad-evil guy, not-nicey, poopy-head of them.
Don't feed them guaranteed money if you're unhappy with the direction of the game, OP.Talon_Draconis wrote: »I am thing hard weather if I am going to keep subbing ESO plus

I happend to be offline for 6mons came back in late may see the add for morrowind thought great! some new dlc like orcium
Renewed my sub then found out a day latter that Morrwind was not included in the sub....said ok I will just buy it with crowns Have ton of them in my account.
Was bit pissed that it was pissed that they called it an expatiation to get out of including with the other dlc but normal marketing shenanigans
Then I found out I could not buy it using crowns their own virtual curacy forcing me to shell out $50 buck cash if I want it
that really pissed me off !
It's just a cash grab plain an simple.
And it screws over people who subbed to get dlc

Your lack of research before buying is not them screwing you.
As a long time subber, i was not screwed by this.
As VinneMac said "Brett screwed Brett."
i am getting plenty for my sub - especially since they added more to it when morrow dropped.
but them, i knew from the start that i agreed they can change anything anytime (just like you did) so any "future" promises are subject to change.
this time they gave six months notice - which seems mighty nice of them, given i agreed to no warning needed.

How are you getting screwed over? This is the most cost efficient form of entertainment available. You're paying pennies per hour for this, and Morrowind is not required to play. Do you ever go to the movies? If so, you have no leg to stand on in this complaint.

Lol...cash grab...
Eso base game + morrowind + 1 mo sub = 40 + 40 + 15. 95 dollars. Let's say you only play for 10 hrs and dumpster it. 9.95 per hour on entertainment. 20 hours....half that per....30 hours...3 dollars. You get the idea for me at over 1000 hrs my cost is nickels.
My golf club membership annual fee 6000. Can't play 4 months out of the year for winter. Might average 12 hrs a week at max. 384 hrs of play...15.62 per hr. And mind you there are no add on, dlcs, new content. Same 18 holes every...single...time.
Going to the show for 1 (although usually for 2) minimally. 18.50 ticket, 4.00 to fill popcorn bucket(refillable bucket bough annually for 25 dollars), 1 drink 4.00. Mind you I live in a smaller town. 26.50 for 2 hrs tops average. 13.25 per hour. And the movie might be complete garbage.
Dinner and drinks for 1. Meal 18.00 avg (13.00-22.00 around here for decent food). 2 cocktails @ 6.00 ea. Lasts 2 hrs. 15.00 per hour.
So I guess if you're comparing the cost of any mmo sub+game to maybe doing nothing I could see the concern with concerns for expense.....
But then again...No.
EDIT: I thought I should add: TG/DB/Orsinium/Hist/Homestead all came with your sub...that...is...insane. You pay the same premium to play WoW and get.....nothing extra? Of course with a new class release they needed to sell an expansion.

@Callous2208
I don't think showing that this decision is a bad one is star farming, it's had and will continue to have a negative effect on player sentiment.
Pointing this out, before things get so bad you just walk away altogether, is how adult behave.
The question is, do you think it was a good move? Do you think they handled it well? Will a continuation of paywalling and leaving ESO+ and crown buyer out in the cold eventually drive you and your money away? Is it therefore adult to remain silent?

Battlegrounds released in full working condition would mean nothing to me because you will just be playing with exploiters and cheaters.

Have you ever said anything positive about ESO? Because look back on your post...I'm not seeing it, and that begs the question. If you hate ZoS so much and think the game is trash, why are you here? I mean there are many MMO's out there.
