Are the champion points making a difference?: Morrowind Updated

I have tried spreading them out into smaller stacks, changing the constellation and going heavy dps (since damage appears to be the only aspect that got helped with the Morrowind changes). I'm a healer though so the damage route cuts into my heals. Overall though, i actually removed all of my cps and then dummied, dps was actually hitting almost the exact same number; however, my crit chance went down a good amount which was odd. I ran a dungeon as well with the same group and everything went about the same without CPs as they did when I had 90 points in the blessed perk. I'm just tired if wasting my money on restating these. Does anyone else experience this?

There is a threshold star in the left blue tree that gives spell crit. You probably ended up w/ less points in that tree after doing your respec. As a healer, the blue CPs don't really affect your dungeon performance. Also, if your DPS is low before applying CP(which I'd expect from a healer), the percentage changes made by CP won't have as much of an effect and may end up being unnoticeable. Regarding the blessed perk in particular, healers tend to over-heal in dungeons anyway(e.g. hit an ally w/ a tick of springs for 5k, when they only had 3k health missing or a BoL for 23k when the ally only had 18k max health and 10k missing), so the lack of those points doesn't really affect how well you heal. This changes a bit in trials, where each healer has essentially 5 other people to keep track of health for and provide buffs to while a large amount of damage is incoming. In those instances, you pretty much want the first tick of whatever you're using to bring up as much health as possible so you can change your focus to other things.

That ended up being a bit longer than anticipated. Hopefully you can filter out an answer you were looking for in there.

Just from the increase in Attributes alone from the Champ Points, you should see an increase your Damage/Healing output. Are you trying to run a Hybrid or are you all in with Magic?
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

The only hybrid skill I use is tenacity. What do you mean the increase in attributes from the cps? There are t any perks that increase mag, hp or stam

W/ regards to attributes, assigning champ points of a certain color(red, green, or blue) increases your max resource of the same color(health, stam, and mag respectively), so by assigning points in the blue tree, your heals and magic spells will automatically hit harder regardless of where in the mage tree you assign the points since max magic is taken into account for damage and healing calculations.

Woah, I didn't know this at all. Could you point me to your source? I'm a bit disturbed that I didn't know this information.
