Stamina Templar Build - can't decide which combination of sets to run, need advice!

So I have farmed several sets and I am now trying to understand which sets should I run
This is for PVP

These are the sets I have (all pieces including each weapon)
Draugr Hulk
Viper's Sting
Leviathan
Ravager (heavy)
All Monster Sets
Agility

What I am trying to do, is find various most optimal combinations to run with
I consider set ups for both 2h/bow and dual wield/bow also 2h/dual wield
I want to find optimal armor set combinations for each of the above set ups (2h/bow and etc...)
I am also thinking whether I should run heavy armor (Ravager set or black rose)

I am open to any suggestions to farm additional sets (except bone's pirate set, don't want to rely on potions, never much of them)

Thank you!

I've been trying out Spriggans/Eturnal hunt with an eturnal hunt bow on back bar to get the 5 piece dodge roll proc. And a Spriggans 2h on the front bar to get the penetration. Also running Selenes 2 piece. It gives better Stam regen than my previous build using 5 hundings with 5 Spriggans.

I'd definitely recommend 2h/bow because the Templar class gap closing takes a serious toll on your magicka and crit rush is your only alternative. Dual wield with 2h is strong but you have to switch bars to gap close which I don't like.

My combo is: (Backbar) , potl, poison inject, javelin (swap to front bar) crit rush, jabs, execute

So your build is around dodge rolling a lot right?
My problem with the Spriggans set is that penetration does not go through shields, which are often seen in PVP
And I agree, 2h is mandatory as we do not have any other viable gap closer

I'm in medium so rolling a lot is mandatory.

As for the shield thing I've also been thinking of options that work equally well vs magicka and stamina. I think Automatons would be a strong replacement but would be a pain farming the weapons.

Also there's viper but your inbox will be full of people crying about you using 3 proc sets.

The 3 proc set you are talking about is: velidtreth/selene + viper + but what is the third one?

I would say don't rule bone pirate out, it's not based on potions, you just need a drink buff active, wear this 5pc and then dubious camoran throne as a drink/food to get around 700recovery extra. You could run clever alchemist on your back bar to get lots of damage for a bit, you will still have very good damage without but for engaging just pop a pot and it will work wonders for quickly disrupting groups with damage. Monster sets i'd either go Selenes, velidreth may be good but there is a chance it will proc if you use poison injection. You could potentially go 1 piece molag kene but only if you're using clever alchemist to free up the slot needed.

I'd just play around for a while testing sets and stuff and find a combo that works for you, what I suggested works well for me but we probably have very different play styles.
Before judging a man walk a mile in his shoes.
    After that who cares?
They're a mile away and you've got their shoes.

Well just to put somehing different to the table: pelinals 5piece ; stam based proc set (doesn't really matter which one- numers (dmg/sec) are almost the same for the better ones, choose as you like), one veli, one molag - 5 heavy 2 medium; enchantements -> either push stam only or use hajikeo (triglyphs),

weapons (DW): one elemental/physikal dmg glyph; one glyph to buff spell/weapon dmg on second weapon (stacks nicely)
weapon traits: if you need forgiving playstile go for defending; if you know what you do and got the possibility to play as you want (no to minimal: fps/lag -issues in PVP) decide for either: max penetration or criticals

    jewellery enchants: weapon dmg

skills: use at minimum 1 fighters guild skill on each bar (beasttrap or silver bolts (? -not sure about name tbh, first skill of fg skill-tree)

This will give you ~ 3000 weapon and spell dmg (flat) ... pushing up tp 4000k during combat (enchantments and weaving)

If you have a playstile relying mostly on light-attack you might go for kena/kena instead of veli/kena... pushing weapon and spell dmg to ~ 5k during combat

Pros: Reliable "good" dmg (not super but ok), forgiving setup (nothing cheesy about it, stustain isn't a problem, but high bursts are very seldom seen too); ability to dip into magic based skills with somewhat medium results: healing by using heals when stam is used for dmg works nicely - adding to it you may want to delegate buffing/debuffing to magica skills and stick to vigor for heals.

Cons: You are not fast, high dmg or un-killable, its a reliable setup, but nothing that will turn heads when checking for best dps, healer or tank.

Variation: I can imagine pelinals and black rose (5 medium 2 heavy) to work better with DW and given enchants, but my PVP environment (FPS/ping) do not allow for testing.
