I mean I don't know about other people but $30 worth of entertainment doesn't get you very far. Going to the movies with your wife? That's around 30 bucks. Going to lunch with a significant other? That's around 30 bucks. If the expansion provides me with 10 hours of content and experience in the form of quests and not mindless aoe grinding... I mean that's worth it to me. Is it worth it considering the cost of other DLCs vs. this "expansion"? Maybe not, but when you got a family, $30 worth of entertainment is gone faster than a fart in a fan factory.

    That's just me though.

I had my gripes but I thoroughly enjoyed it and the content it provided (and still am). Many games out there that are much more expensive and provide less fun :)

Not fanboys, just people who don't whimper at the idea of spending loose change like $30 on many hours of entertainment. Some people act like it was a life-changing amount of money or something. :D

BTW i rather be a ZoS fanboy, than a Whiner's Club fanboy :) You can choose those that love to cry for every damn thing in the game, or be in the club of those that adjust and love the game, as there is so many other games around for those people not happy, no one forces you to stay in the game and pollute the atmosphere. ;)

Yeah.. 60 bucks on Amazon.. wow! I'm sure Amazon will jack it up some more, since it's flying out off the shelf, right..

It's about as big as 1-2 areas in GW2 and they added about 8 in their last expansion.

true, HoT, despite its many issues appears to have 2,3 times more content than morrowind and even then I felt like it was a bad investment getting it... I really want to try out Morrowind, i really enjoyed its design on the pts and probably did 40%-50% of the quests there... But since that went by really fast, I feel extremely reluctant to get this dlc for 40 euros... I'd probably buy it for 25 though

Just because it's a good bang for your buck compared to other entertainment does not mean it is conpared to video game industry itself.

A lot of people have a hard time understanding that you can criticize something you like and still like it. You don't have to be a mindless follower without the ability to form your own opinions. In fact, criticism is the hallmark of a successful capitalist system. Sometimes criticism can help the thing you like.

That's funny because I can walk into GameStop, pull 90% of the games off the shelf, and be done with them in a week.

Many of them much, much less.
