Here's the funny thing..

I don't even care about Morrowind! I didn't purchase it nor will I. I'm just having to endure this long arse maintenance, then more long arse downloading and installation on PS4 following with whatever patch, just to be able to go back on and get into the contents I've paid the monthly ESO Plus and PlayStation Plus subscriptions for. What a clusterfoxtrot this Morrowind and whatever patch accompanying it is becoming. Sorry to be the black sheep here.. but someone has to be. So. I'll be that guy this evening, until I pass out in agony. However, there is still a little nice piece of bone somewhere inside of me. I'm also actually somewhat, kind of thrilled and excited in a strangely and disturbingly kind of way for you all that are anticipating the excitement (hopefully) to come with Morrowind. Good for you, those of you who have dropped the bucks for it. Good luck and best wishes with it..

If you think you're the only "black sheep" look at the forums. These threads are pointless and useless. I'm excited to play and I'm sorry you're so... angry?

I'm just happy I'm at work during this i cancel my pre order myself but at least when I get home I can download the patch and play the normal game. I hope people really enjoy marrowind and the huge pve area.

Myself though I'll be seeing if this patch is not as bad as they say or taking a small leave until they fix some of the class balancing again.

    same as it ever was.
Would you expect them to do any thing different?
A new DLC has come out. Opps I mean "Chapter"
They have to upload it for you to download it. They also have to update the servers.
Yeah I'll wait for the sale price here in a few months.

Nahh.. I'm not angry. Not sure how you came to that conclusion. No where in my post is that anything about being angry. Sure, there's a bit of flare and dramatic tendency with it, but that's mostly it. Anyways, I'm happy for you for your excitement and also the rest who are anxiously awaiting Morrowind on consoles, and I hope Morrowind will be enjoyable for you all as it would be intended. Oh, also thank you, however, for at least looking into my thread.. and here at Motel 6, we'll keep the lights on for ya..

I didnt buy it either man and i am shocked cause i never thought i would play a MMO and not buy the expansion. But i am just losing interest honestly. I play more for PVP and BGs dont interest me one bit and after watching they just dont look fun at all to me. But they Destro Ult trains, Proc Sets, Lag and Constantly Farming PVE stuff to do PVP is taking a toll on my fun.

I can understand the annoyance of wanting to play and finding out you can't because of a patch or whatever but what were you expecting when you decided to play an MMO? Updates and maintenance happen quite often in MMO's and if you don't like it then maybe you should play a game that doesn't require them.

It's always hilarious that there are always peeps telling crap like oh, if you don't like it, then don't play it.. or, ahhh.. who told you, you have to play this or that. I'm quite the sane adult and quite capable of deciding what I want to do, should or should not do, play what I want to play or not to play. I don't need any sniveling dude to tell me what I should or not play. Ha ha ha. Oh, man..

I was simply stating the obvious - MMO's have to undergo maintenance and update quite frequently in order to keep the game in a healthy state. Since this obviously bothers you so much that you have to come to the forums and complain(like a child) about something that is literally required for the game to survive I simply suggested that this game may not be the one for you.

Yes...you're onto our evil scheme. And we would have gotten away with it too...if it weren't for those darn kids and a dog named Scooby Doo...

But our plot extends far before this maintenance. This con...a conspiracy between the Rand Corporation, Russians, the Asparagus consortium and Katy Perry was orchestrated to convince you to invest in a video game, whereupon we would destroy your life by carefully aligning a server outage with a precise moment in space and time. Bwa ha ha.

Also, congrats on maxing out your whine guild skill line. Not many get to 50 so fast...

The real funny thing is how most of the people saying they won't be buying or playing Morrowind have likely already been playing these last two weeks during the early access.

Trump.. is that you?! Didn't know a big man like you is interested in a video game like this. Hey, thank you for your worthless insight (really appreciated it) and enjoy what Morrowind has to offer.

You still need an large update, all the stuff you can take out of morrowind need to be downloaded for all. You can buy or at least see the new gear and furniture for one. Because of lazynes they probably add everything in the common download with an exception of large files they are sure not being used other places like dialogue and monsters.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

You're not missing ANYTHING in terms of progression. However, you are missing a TON of FUN. And achievement, titles, dye, non-combat pet, motifs, costumes...oh and a whole new class.

Yep - you can still progress your current characters no problem. And the other upside? Most players will be out in Morrowind, so you will have a lot of zones that will be more empty.

Oh, I hear you.. Eventually, I'm sure I would if I'm still fiddling around with ESO by them. I mean, heck, I didn't get into ESO until, what, almost a year after release. Same with Skyrim. I finally dove head first into that a couple years after release. I'm just not that guy who gets into a frenzy over new things, like during every DLCs and new contents being released into ESO when there are always frenzy going on for a couple weeks or so into it. I'm sure somewhere along the line, maybe a couple to few months later, when folks have stopped gawking over Morrowind, and the price would have dropped significantly.. yeah, I'll probably give it a go at it. Sorry for being so frugal.

I hear you.. However, I'm fine with things and places in regular PvE land that would be more emptied. I'm actually more of a soloist in ESO, anyways and solos most PvE land contents. Yeah, who solos in MMO, right.. ha ha. I'm actually welcoming that majority of the folks will be in Morrowind and not clogging up dolmens, world bosses, delves or other areas in normal PvE land. Heck, even yesterday, there was only me and one other lowbie dude taking on the Minotaur boss in the Gold Coast, where otherwise, it normally would be packed at any given time. However, please do enjoy Morrowind. I'm not knocking it. I'm sure it will be tons of fun and good new additional experience (well, minus all the technical debacles I'm sure that will accompany it as well.. just similar in every new contents and DLC being released into ESO.) I probably and eventually will ease into it somewhere along the line down the road some.
