Random Normal

Every time i queue for random normal ( no idea if the same problem is for spesific dungeons too) the game every 7 sec have a 2 sec lag spike something that make the game unplayble. When i leave queue all goes to normal again.
What happened with dungeon finder anyway. You try to fix it for around 6 months or more ? Do you even try those fixes....... My nerves....

Worth to say that my video settings is those.

Master Merchant Addon? Or any other addon that scans things periodically?

If you have any addons, try unchecking them all, then queuing and see if you have the same spikes. If not, then add them back one at a time until you see it again. Then hopefully you have some timers you can adjust.

Nice thought . I just try it but its not from addons.
I ask around in guilds and many ppl have the problem. I can simple ask why all work perfect when dungeon finder is not in queue.
Like 15 min ago i enter the dungeon from my random normal, Inside dungeon all was ok when the group is whole.

Well they did do something with grouping in general with the morrowind update, that has been fixed since(I think), and that was that just trying to accept a group invite would give you "failed to join group" after a long delay and then another delay before it would put you in the group. The same was happening with invites looking like they failed and taking forever.
It's still slow though

My guess is that while you are queued it isn't just a server side flag that will throw you in once conditions are met but a repeated check from your end like a child in the back seat of the car saying "are we there yet?" every 2 minutes. That would likely be the lag spike a it checks again, but I don't know exactly how it works or have access to find out.

I have the same issue as OP. This started since the 5/6/17 patch. i have disabled all addons, logged out/in and tried again its is still the same, the only difference being i gave up on the queue as its was to bad to play and wait.

Dungeon finder on xbox has been broken since Homestead launch in February. We've been fighting this battle in the community for months trying to get a response from ZOS on if they ever plan to correct the problem, or even acknowledgement that the problem even exists. On xbox you get removed from area 90% of time you get ported to the dungeon. Then someone usually leaves, the queue gets bugged and wont allow you to search for another player. Then group disbands. Wait 15 minutes for queue timer, requeue, wait another 1/2 hr to get group if your dps, and then.....removed from area. So basically 45 min to an hour, or even longer, each attempt to get a group. But apparently this is acceptable to ZOS cause they have yet to address it for 4 months. And all the posts I've seen on this since there were issues ( probably dozens over 4 months) I've yet to see one response from ZOS. Group PVE content is not accessible in its current state. This is disappointing to say the least as ZOS should be embarrassed a major bug in the game has existed this long without any word from ZOS or an effort seen from dev's to rectify the problem. I'm at the point where I've been patient about this for 4 months, but no longer, next step for me is a request for 2 morrowind refunds and a better business bureau complaint. Cause I cant seem to get any response going through ZOS or tickets.

I have the same issue, only on random.
No issue on specific dungeon queue.
Hope they will fix it.

I want to update the problem after some research.
Lets see what happened.
Same pc same addons on my night blade no problem at all with random normal. No lag spikes nothing.
I log my magika Templar and the problem is still there. after 7-9 sec on random normal 2 sec lag spike.
But i dont stop there. I put some friends so we do some tests.
On stamina templar there is no problem either lol.
But from 4 of my friends we do the tests all of them have the same problem with magika templar only.
There is nothing to do with specific skills cuz its the first we try even with empty bars.
It is totally a crazy situation that i challenge ppl to try it so they start fixing it or not cuz every time they fixing it things goes worse lol .
Anyway i hope i help the dev team.

I've had the same problem with lag while queuing for random dungeons on PS4.

and the updates continue with no official reply yet and after 2 patches

. Magicka Templar still have 2-3 sec lag spike every 9 sec when random normal queue is active. I hope you see the other posts about lag spikes also...

Same issue here. While in random LFG every 9-10 seconds (consistently) game freezes for 1-2 seconds, smells like a badly optimized query is blocking a thread while it waits for a response.
