So whats next?

What will be the next patching / expansion we are going to see?
And what class are we going to get next summer?

Warden is the only new class since launch 3 years ago, I wouldn't necessarily expect one next summer.

There is a loose schedule which is pretty much 2 dlc, 1 chapter, and 1 dungeon pack every year. The next one is supposed to be a dungeon pack iirc although I'm not 100% certain about that

Next update will be around August/September. I believe it will be a dungeon DLC that is included with ESO+. Next chapter/expansion will be around May/June next year. I doubt a new class will come with it though.

Did they not say, from now on?:
1. New big content + new class ones a year (Summer).
2. 3 other updates / expansion patch over the year.

Never mentioned a new class. We could do with another proper class though. An all stamina based class would be a good one. Too much magika based stuff with stamina versions.

But they did say that going forward will be an "update dlc with balances" interpret that however you want, major expansion, dungeon dlc and a zone dlc.

i very much doubt there will be another new class in its lifetime but new skillines probably...which i think i prefer unless they come out with a dwmer themed class

What's next? Bard's Guild is whats next! Hell yeah!

listening to their q&a I wouldn't expect another chapter soon(around 12 months)

How much money do they hve?? are consoles a black hole they just keep throwing money at to fix or is it generating rivers of gold for them.

The market leader that game we cannot mention is an example of a successful mmo that puts out content regularly.

That is the measuring stick, and they need to launch new content that can keep the vets happy. Otherwise its just a merry go round, once a player has exhausted the content they move on. And replaced by new players who are just starting.

That being said eso is a game of high visual quality(great graphics) so I imagine the effort needed to create content takes more work.

Lets wait and see what hppens

"In any other game of this type, these would be called “expansions" – but ESO is a game unlike any other. Because ESO is not level-based, Chapters don't fit the general definition of an “expansion," which typically, in MMO-speak, means it is aimed only at existing (and usually high level) players. Chapters in ESO are different. Each ESO Chapter will feature a self-contained story and zone that can be experienced by itself without needing to travel out to the main game. Our content is never level-gated, which means you can play Chapters with an existing character, or a completely new one.

Expect ESO Chapters to introduce things like new game systems, new classes, and a ton of new content. For example, our new Chapter, ESO: Morrowind, contains a new class (the Warden), small-scale PvP Battlegrounds, and of course, a completely new zone to explore.

Each Chapter will be available at retail complete with new box art and packaging. It will contain the Chapter and will include the original game. All standard DLC will still be purchased from the Crown Store or be available to ESO Plus members as part of the subscription, but new Chapter content is available only via retail (including digital retail) game or upgrade purchase if you already own ESO.."
