Just out of curiosity @ZOS_GinaBruno what kind of size are we looking at download wise for Morrowwind. Usually we get one 10X times that of PC players & seeing as they got a 10GB download will we be looking at 100gb+. One Tamriel was 43gb compared to 4gb on PC. Just checking because I need to see which day I need to book off work because I have potato Internet & 1T took 2 days to download

    Given that it is a weekend and ZOS are not at work you are unlikely to get a response for a little while.

    However you may get an answer on Monday and I would definitely be expecting a pretty large download. Maybe not 100GB but 30GB or so at least.

    I'd say we will be looking at 60gb+ to be honest

    With the way Console games are played these days, it's a good thing I have my 2TB external drive.

    It's complete crap that Microsoft would sell Consoles with only 500GB drives, knowing full well gamers would eat it all up real quick installing everything they play.

    From what I've heard of the size of morrowind, my guess would be 40gb.
    Range from 30-50gb.

    You can get an external 2T hard drive for a PS4 for cheap and not have to worry about space issues again for a while.

    I had to delete every other game & app just so ESO would play somewhat smoother. Still get dc'd in trials and there's been an issue with in game chat for almost a month now

    As posted above invest in a 2tb external hard drive. Got one relatively cheap for my PS4 and oh the joy. Highly recommended.

    Solid state drives are extremely fast compared to regular hardrives but you pay a premium for a decent sized one, I've got 2 500gb ones and their total cost was probably £500+. If you want size and speed you could look at getting a sshd which is a solid state hybrid drive, I've never personally used one but apparently they are quite good. The guy speaks the truth though, once you use an ssd for something like gaming you will never go back to regular hardrives.

    I gave up trying to plan around downloads for ESO - it downloads when it does and that is when I'll play. Besides, when it is finished every man and his dog will be playing, the load times will be horrendous and between the lag and disconnects, people will be pulling their hair out in frustration.

    I think it is supposed to be 8pm here when everything comes up but I doubt that I will get the download completed and start playing before I go to bed - being someone who works for a living. I am not expecting to be playing until at least after work the next day.

    @ArchMikem
    It's not crap. The whole point since Xbox 360 is storage that's interchangeable so you can take it anywhere. Why put a huge HD on a console when and limit the user.

    Since the first year you could use an existing external Hd.....and a lot of those run better than the internal Hd so I gladly would pay less for the console and pick the Hd of my choosing. Only install games once vs any time I have issues and have to service, replace or upgrade the console.
