After Morrowind and the influx of new blood ( 
), I am starting to think the server is to small for the player load. I have 14 alts for hirings now on my main account and I try to do my hirings; I am being kicked A LOT with the Error 303 -- Player timeout. Anyone else been getting this or being kicked when trying to a char?

✭✭✭✭I've said that I think there is only one server. When NA and EU maintenance moved to the "same time" it just started seeming hinky to me.Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -

✭From my understanding, there is one "megaserver" for US and another one for EU. Also, the consoles have 2 as well -- one for US and one for EU. There is 4 "Live" servers plus PTS one. I am on the PC US Megaserver now and being booted a lot.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭There's a surge of people playing right now because of Morrowind. I expect this will die down in another month or two, and the player numbers will shrink a little bit again. Some people are returning to the game again to play the new content, after having not played for a half-year or so.0 -

Franieck✭✭✭✭Man, overpopulated server has been butchering my framerates in cities. It's so annoying! I wish they would fix crap like that. My fps is better during trials where everyone is going crazy and spamming abilities against hordes of enemies than in freaking Deshan. It's a pain trying to avoid cities all the times just due to the huge amount of player models there0

✭For me, I play just fine in most cities. My trouble is logging and out of different chars. I often get error 303, server timeout error message. If I keep banging the server. It will work at some point.0 -

✭This has really discouraged me from finally finishing VMA. I've been starting to get the mechanics down in the final battle, but this kind of thing happens, I get booted off the server and can't log in because of the error, and sometimes by the time I do the level has reset so I'm back at the beginning. If they can't sort this out, they could at least put a save point before the final boss, because the thought of having that happen again makes my stomach knot up.0 -

✭I really don't think there are more players present. I see a decrease in average numbers of players online in both my friends and guild lists post patch. I suspect that the lag issues are just related to the normal teething that each update tends to have. I think this is especially obvious when doing vMA at off hours. There are not a lot of players pushing on the servers at this time and you are in a solo instance yet I noticed some big lag issues on my run. Every update seems to have some lag issues early on even at times when the servers are not particularly stressed. Homestead was much worse with frequent DC's when you zoned and mid trials (there were actually a lot of people running trials in homestead lol).I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.2 -

If I look at steam charts I see around 11k average players in April and 9k in May. That does not look like the "surge" mentioned in here. And I doubt it's much different using the ESO launcher.1 -
