PVP without CP - how is it like?

Whenever I go to a CP campaign and then jump into non-CP campaign I can immediately feel the change in the dynamics of PVP

The straight difference is simply that players do not have the bonuses to various aspects (recovery / reduced cost / etc..) but can someone explain the deeper changes that happen to PVP dynamics when CP are absent

Good question idk. And with the big update coming just few days away things will change again so might be better to ask again after people get to test out the new changes.

As you pointed out, there's the sustain issue, you will lose a lot more resources, a lot faster. Also, you lose about 5k stam/magicka (that's what I'm losing, at least, it depends on how many CP do you have) from the champion points, and some critical rating, which you don't invest in anyways, so no problem there. Now they removed the cost reduction passives, that's not an issue anymore, but there's still the matter of stam/mag regen you're going to lose, plus the tenacity bonus. That is kind of harsh, heavy attacks restore a lot less resources, but they become necessary.

Survival becomes a lot harder and you really want to plan what set to use to make sure you don't get instagibbed.

Not sure about BGs, there's probably going to be a whole different set of mechanics, but as for the no CP campaign, you really want heavy armor, unless you're a shield stacking sorc or a nb.

Basically, you're playing a level 50 toon with cp160 armor, that's it. The builds you're going to be using are much different, and the gear as well.

    Hope this helped

Gearing is different for non CP. Well, probably a good idea to have a little more regen for starters. Takes a little more work to kill a player and to survive.

    Also make sure to:

    1) have sharpened weapons
    2) have means to purge yourself
    3) make a decent stack of immovability potions (they are going to save your life)
    4) make yourself some poisons for extra cheese

    Thx for the reply
Given the nature of each class who do you think will benefit the most from a non-CP campaign and who will be in the wrost position
