CC breaking doesnt work. What is wrong?

Since the release of morrowind update ive had this problem in pvp. I get stunned --> i have enough stamina to CC break --> i press the button --> nothing happens. Its not a constant issue but it comes up sometimes. Anyone else having such problems?

EttinTheBreton✭✭✭I would first make sure whatever button you are just "pressing" is still bound how you are expecting it to be.
The default CC break on PC is right + left mouse click. If you have been holding down the left click for whatever reason (for a heavy attack, or a light attack at the exact moment), you will NOT CC break if you keep your left click down and then simply add a right click to that. That does not work, and this might be your issue in the heat and fast-paced movement of PvP.
To be sure that CC breaking works, as soon as you are stunned release both mouse buttons. Then hold down the right click, and then tap the left click. That should work every time, or if you don't have the best connection you can keep holding down right click and then left click a few times until your CC break works.
Anyways, that's what works for me. I think of it as more of a rolling motion. I see that I get stunned, I take off both clicks, and then "roll" my fingers beginning with a right click, and then a left click.Edited by EttinTheBreton on June 3, 2017 10:27PMBest,

✭Break free hardly ever wants to work. I've tried both binding it to the C key and one of the extra mouse buttons, and it's still totally unreliable.1 -

That's true. I didn't make myself clear in my post, but maybe binding it to a different key like C or B isn't as reliable as holding right click first, and then left clicking. I would go with whatever people find more reliable.Best,

aLi3nZ✭✭✭✭I fought a premade team in battlegrounds last night that in included 3x dk stamina tremascale crit rush/stampede spamming cancer builds. Also 1 stam nb included. I noticed break free didn't work when attacked by 2 or more of them at a time. So fkm cancer1

Lord_Kreegan✭✭✭✭✭Similar problem with MB3 and MB4 support; for instance, I have MB4 tied to Auto-run. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't; it's a PITA to use the NUM-LOCK key.
Last time I experienced this sort or problem was with Rift and ArcheAge; Trion had imposed the use of QTProcessWebEngine, a piece of spyware, executed through their launcher as an overlay. It incidentally intercepted and prevented translation of some mouse-events. Wasn't too hard to defeat it...
Hopefully, ZOS isn't doing something quite that stupid...0
