Often it is twitch views/subs decay that drags them back. When those dollars stop flowing they suddenly change tune. Seen it a few times while playing WoW, rarely you get the hugely popular channels who can actually hop games because the viewers are there for the player, not the game content (Reckful and Sodapoppin are two prime examples).

Gilliam is Akatosh.

Zo$ logic is silly. A bunch of clowns a few months back goes around using a cheat engine, breaks the game, and literally ruins the gameplay for hundreds of people. Zo$ rushes to the forums and removes all posts about them under name shamming.
But a streamer has a mental breakdown and holds a pretend funeral for his fictional character (RIP btw, I hope you received the flowers we sent) and Zo$ lets his name get shamed, drug through the mud, and made fun of for days on end...
I don't feel completely sorry for Deltia, he opened himself up for ridicule from the community but I do find it shady Zo$ went out of their way to protect the cheat code breakers but hardly lift a finger to stop these threads when they pop up

Really? That's two names I've never heard of. Three if you count Deltia.

You're in an Elder Scrolls game forum and you don't know AKATOSH!?
ES lore is pretty indepth and spans over twenty years of games now. But very generally speaking Akatosh is considered one of the main "good" gods (daedric princes) in the ES universe.

I would say that almost 100% of us (yes, made up statistic) have been in that very same boat. I have been there more than once - I just didn't video it for all to see my nerd rage. I have too much personal pride.
I'll say it one more time - it was all for the attention. You don't symbolically bury your "toon" on video unless you want people to see it.

I'm aware of the main gods in the game, I just wasn't aware that the person I've never heard of who is apparently now running the website of someone else I've never heard of is actually one of the ingame gods. I just assumed it was someone else I'd never heard of with an unoriginal name.

Informative videos vs meltdown videos. Two completely different agendas.

Is that really a meltdown though? Was he just suppose to stop making eso videos all together? Or some serious quitting video? (He'd probably get more hate)
All he did as an "entertainer" was provide some flavor to his loyal eso fan base. A fan base that's been with him and supported him for years. How could that be an attention grabbing meltdown?

hahha omg please... I play video games with ALL my spare time - there is nothing remotely close to a job in playing a game 12 hours a day and moaning about it on youtube lol
I also develop mods for other games - with 100k downloads etc. etc., so i can say I do contribute to communities of games I'm part of.
Deltia doesn't contribute crap.

Gilliam The Rouge is a great contributor to the ESO community albeit he contributes more "quietly" than lets say a streamer does. He is very knowledgable about how the game functions under the hood and is an excellent theorycrafter. Most importantly though, he is a very nice guy, very patient, and will assist anyone with questions.

But what's the connection with Akatosh?
And is that moniker "The Rouge" his typo or yours? I can never take seriously anyone who confuses "Rogue" with "Rouge" unless it's done for deliberately comic effect.
