Grinding allows you to L2P fatser!!!

If you grind you have access to your full rotation faster in turn allowing you to L2P correctly faster.

Instead of leveling slowly and just spamming one ability until lvl 5.... then spamming another ability until lvl 10 blah blah blah.

Not only that grinding to 50 before anything else will help you catch up by grinding cp instead of levels.

Its simple science and science is awesome.

You may possibly 'l2p' faster, but you'll be doing it at a level where you'd like to be doing group content with people who would rather you had done so while levelling.

Of course, I presume the OP is not written in all seriousness.

    fatser?

also no, actually using the skills and figuring out how they work and what use they are (or not) is better.

I have seen some people at grind spots that just should not be there, no clue what-so-ever.
    ESO player since beta.
    game got too disappointing.

Maybe it teaches a little about easy PVE but there is very little it teaches for PVP . You can make a great grinding build and get destroyed day 1 in Cyrodiil .

Instead of depending on a meta rotation how about we learn to use every single skill in the game and make ourselves better at adapting to changes?

Or not because its easier to watch a 5 min. video of the new meta every time there is a balance change. Until you get frustrated by feeling useless again and again with every big patch
If you want me to reply to your comment type @Ankael07 in it.

L2P what exactly? Grinding would seem to only make you better at grinding. What about blocking a roll dodge?

Quite the opposite. If you grind through the game you will never learn the intricacies and mechanics of the game. Thus' when you enter a dungeon you might have your most effective way to kill ready but you are going to be PWN'D by the mechanics.

What are you talking about? Every grinder I ever met only spemmed one AoE ability... I have yet to see Anyone grinding who actually learned to play anything more then "spam AoE"...

Also, too much grinding makes your brain cells comitt suicide out of sheer boredon. Up to the point where a person has such a reduced cerebral capacity they actually start to believe "grinding is awesome"... :p;)

Want to L2P? Experiment with loads of -different- abilitiues, see how they can be best utilized and so on. PvP, for all its annoyances, is great to see, since the enemy players will certwaionly expliot any weakness in your skill load... and show you good combinations in your damage report when respawning...

Actually, neither grinding nor questing really lets you learn proper rotation. What happened to me was I put points everywhere for fun when questing, then when hitting ~lvl30 decided I needed a build. Went to respec, spent an hour reading tooltips, read a guide, then tested on a few mudcrabs. That was it. I think I had the most practice from world boss farming and random dungeons.

Grinding doesnt teach you nothing, you just acquire your tools faster. When you have unlocked your skills then the learning proccess starts trying, combining and testing.

Seen tons of 400+cp players go into a dungeon, put down their healing altar and start heavy attacking with their 2hander. F*ckOff.

    They didnt learn a sh*t.

Err no, I did some grinding and all you do is spam AOE skills on that large mob pull. L2P for zerg PvP more like it.

There's a lot more to combat and learning to play in general, than just learning a rotation. You can't short-cut it, it just takes time and practice.
If you can be anything, be kind.

Stacking, shielding/healing and AoEing down bunch of weak mobs does not learn anything. Those guys are the bane of bad GF pug runs.

Grinding to level cap teaches you how to grind, nothing more.
    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

Its silly how many people dont understand what i mean lol

Grind to 50 ...ok got that?

Then after you have your skills then quest go through the story and what not .

    You still with me????

Then you have all your skills and can use your skills together and start learning your actual rotation.

    Silly goosys

Ah yes, the player we all love. Joins a dungeon as a mage sorc, runs into mob group, throws down lighting, and promptly dies to trash while yelling "stupid healer!".

Or the tank with 15 k hp and no taunt.

Or the healer who doesn't heal anyone but themselves and thinks they're DPS.

    We need more of them.
