Well if you play a racing game and run a track 100 times and have a good run once out of 100 and beat the par time and take a video of it claiming that is what you hit every time then the guild person might not believe you. On the flip side of the coin why would you lie about your dps in a guild you have been in for months? If your guild doesn't trust you then from my experience with mmo guilds across many mmos the guild person has probably suffered at some point in their life a major crisis of trust and puts everything into strict protocol because they don't have confidence in the people they represent. Ask them if you need to sign a prenuptial and say the lords prayer seven times. If they laugh or at the very least ... then maybe their is fun to be had. If you get booted they probably are soul shriven.

I can see both sides of it.

When these high-end guilds that do vet trials are making you demonstrate that you can perform before they take you on a run, it's not out of some need to get at you or prove themselves superior. It's because they don't want 11 other people held up for hours in a run because you are unable to do it. It's the 11 other people they are considering, mostly.

a) 21k hitted once is not convinsing, especially if I don't have Combat Metrics statistics for it. It's barely making it and for all I know it may be pure luck: all crits procing, monster set procing, etc. If you made it to ~23k, I wouldn't have questions, because then I would know for sure that you do hit 20k. 21k? No.

As I said, I myself put 20k requirement. But I do it so low-CP players had a chance to participate. If I see 250-300CP hitting 21k (especially consistently), I go into "Awwwww, come on, come on, jump in! I'll show you stuff and you'll learn mechanics now already, so later on you will be super-duper-pro"

21k on 500CP magsorc? Like... Sorry, but I wouldn't be happy

FYI I consistently hit 26k with Blockade of Storms and 24k with Blockade of Fire on 430CP magsorc in crafted Julianos. 21k on 500CP means that your rotation is clearly wrong, so yeah - I too would like to get you to Teamspeak or Discord and have you performing it for me so I could give you some tips.

It's not toxic to require minimum DPS for a guild. It's also not toxic to say to someone they can't raid because they don't meet the dps requirements. Toxic would be saying 20k dps is disgustingly low for a 500cp sorc. imo, they did nothing wrong.

As many said 20k is pretty low, even without ultimate.

They dont troll you, they just want to be present to see your dps test...
