An average of 50- 100 a month in crowns if you add crowns I buy and cards I give as gifts to friends and cool folks I meet in game.

ESO runs a close second to my sim racing hobby which is way more expensive a month than this.

Almost 700 hours of play, started playing in Spring 2015, I only bought base game (40€?) and I have bought only 1 month of ESO+ (in November 2016). I have Imperial Edition + Orsinium with my base game.

This is why gaming companies monetize the *** out of there games. No matter how much people whine about pricing there is someone willing to pay.

Not a slam post, I subbed for a long time (over 2 years). Just saying, next time you see a "OMG THIS POOPYBREATHTOMATONOSE MOUNT IS 4500 CROWNS!!!!!!!"

Hm. I voted 100-200 dolars but it's actually way more lol I just went to check it

I bought the game on sale and it cost me around 13 euro.

Eso sub + some crowns bought on sale + Morrowind add up to 213 euro. Damn!

It has been more than a year of almost daily entretainment so I do not regret it, but I did not expect it was going to be that much.

For us it would be:

(Imp edition + sub for 6 months)x2
6months break
2x sub all the way after the break until they announced I would have to buy marrawand.
Prob about another 20k crowns since the store opened.

So yea, they lost 2 constant income streams just for that 40$ box sale for a dlc subs can't access. I guess zos can do the math on how much they lost there.

I'll use my last 15k crowns and my partners from subs to pay for marrawand When it hits the crown store. But we will no longer support the game.

I really miss the 180 day subscription option.
And that I can't find 60 day cards anywhere. The last ones I found, GameStop wouldn't sell to me.

I started in October 2015.

$60 for the base game
3 of the 5500 crown packs on sale = $75
$40 for Morrowind

So that's $175, or an average of $8.75 per month.

The thing that mostly annoys me is that I still don't own all of the DLCs, but I could have all of them (well, the four I care about) plus the base game for a third of what I originally paid if I started over now. Which I'm obviously not going to do, but it'd be nice if they'd throw out some sales on those DLCs every once in a while.
