Sorc gear question
I'm currently running a pet build for my mag sorc.
Got 5 necropotence and 2 ilambris as my best gear. Then I got 2 staffs of vicious death and a 3-set jewelry which I can't remember but nothing special.
All from the traders.
Should I change the staffs and jewelry for a 5 set and if so, which? I'd like to run 2 x 5 plus 1 x 2 instead of my current setup.
I'm mainly looking for stuff I can get from traders since I'm farming for BSW but that takes ages.

OP, closest you're probably going to get is to have someone craft Julianos for you. Puts it somewhere between trader purchase and farming - still straight gold to gear conversion.
You'll still have to farm the Necro jewelry. If you're dual wielding (which I assume, with your request for 5+5+2) you can have a 2pc of another set to supplement any weak spots (spell damage, recovery, etc).
As mentioned, BSW is no longer worth it. If you are in a farming mood, Netch's Touch would be a good secondary set.

Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS0 -
seedubsrun✭✭✭✭I run a pet sorc too. 5x Necro 2x Illambris 3x Willpower with 2 vMA staves. Moondancer jewelry would be better but I don't have time to farm it. If you want to run 2 5-piece sets you'll probably have to drop Illambris. You can dual wield on your back bar for sure but unless your second set is crafted, you're going to be farming forever for stuff. A pretty powerful non monster set build would be 5x Necro 5x Julianos 1x Illambris.0 -
I dont dual wield. I wasn't aware you didn't get set bonus from back bar weapon.
So now I'm running 5 necro, 2 ilambris, 4 mothers sorrow and one other staff. Goal is vMA weapons but that's quite far away since I'm only cp282.

Maybe try 4 piece Spinner's instead of mother's sorrow. The extra magic will help boost dps and sustain plus the 4 piece is spell damage. The crit isn't as useful these days on a sorc as long as you get about 50%. What Mundus are you running?0 -

i have tried Netch's Touch with julianos (5+5) all divine,but the spell damage is "flat"and not what was supposed for my use,unfortunately.
Now i use 5 Julianos + 5 Mother's Sorrow and have the same damage,in alternative i use 4 Necropotence + 5 Julianos + 2 llambris,i think the best options for resources,for me
