All CP gear is lvl 50 but CP 160 gear is the highest level of gear and the only gear worthy of making gold. However, unless your into min/max or pushing progression content such as trials and arenas/serious about PvP the difference is not that big.

Yeah im big into pvp thats why im asking is it still hard getting mats as it was or is it a bit easier now? Because I remember when the game first launched on ps4 and v14 mats were everywhere and when v16 hit you had to grind ur heart out just to get enough mats to craft 1 piece

Still the same for crafted gear. CP 160 takes 10X the mats compared to CP 150.

OTOH, there is a ton more good set pieces from dungeons, PVP, trials and zones with the added benefit that they also have jewelry as part of the set.

I don't craft CP160 stuff all that much any more. The mat requirements seems that much more ridiculous now that when they started with this X10 stuff for VR16 gear.

General rule of thumb: Don't invest in gear until CP160. No upgrades, no buying gear off stores. Just use whatever you pick up.

Cp 160 is gear cap right now, so anything that's capped will always scale the best

I feel you on that there's no point in having an extra 100 damage for 150 mats per piece. Of gear idk why theres such a large gap between the 2 and very little stats thx for the heads up tho

cp150 crafted uses 1/10 of the cp160 materials and work for utility sets like a night silence for stealing or thif / db quests.
its also an nice go to set if poor
Make weapons cp160 first and they are the only its important to gold, note that making things gold is many times more expensive than the raw materials.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
