Eye of flame has ruined pvp

There is absolutely nothing you can do when a group of flamers bomb you. It's gotten ridiculous.
Why did the Dunmer cross the road?
Apparently to get stuck in an eternal load screen!

I find it funny when the weapon ultimates got revealed that the destro ulti got ripped apart for being useless, now people can't live without it.

    Right?

And there was nothing, and I mean NOTHING anyone could have possibly done. There was literally no conceivable way the poster or his starchy allies could have:

    - Cast major expedition
    - Thrown down AOE heals
    - Cast stone giant on the guy with the ulti and walked away
    - Cast a damage shield
    - Used talons, encase, caltrops or fossilize on the caster and moved
    - Killed the guy in center of the red circle
    - Roll dodged

I think the problem becomes when the zergball uses the skill as well.

It's kind of sad watching coordinated eye zergballs roll into keeps.

The issue is battlegrounds really. Sure in Cyrodiil it's a pain but there are more ways around. In battlegrounds your all squished into this area so something with that field of effect and ratio or just way to much. And it isn't just Eye of the flame, the other morph is becoming problematic too.

Agreed. It has good intentions but is abused. It's meant to break up zergs but when zergs run this + negate your a carcass.

Compare it to the other weapon ultimates, and ultimates in general. It's way OP.

You are aware that in any organized push, 3 or 4 people drop them at the same time right plus CC.

    4 x 10k tick plus VD/Sap/Anything else = GG.

    Lol at major expedition btw.

A skill that everyone has access to (even some stamina builds run it on their back bar) can be countered by a class specific ultimate

Perhaps your experience is different than mine, but on Xbox, in Haderus and Scourge, the most common Eye of Flame user I come across is built as follows:

    - Magicka Nightblade
    - Pops Eye of Flame
    - Drinks immovability potion
    - Lotus Fan spam until you're dead

Eye of the Storm worsened PvP ever since it was made. However bomber groups will always do their ways, whether its Magicka Det or Eye of Flame.

Ok...I agree the bombers are annoying, but is the issue THAT bad really? Nine times in ten they kill a few people on the flag, die themselves, then everyone is rezzed in a few seconds and life goes on.

    Yes, I am.

Maybe you should be on the right end of an "organized push"??

BTW, LOL at you getting rekt by this so bad you complained on the forums instead of learning how to stop standing in red.

Umm, any organised group can wipe out a massive Zerg with well times ulti's. It's not just the destro staff one, and also f you are having issues with this I have a suggestion.
Get out of the red zone
Before judging a man walk a mile in his shoes.
    After that who cares?
They're a mile away and you've got their shoes.

    Sorc: Negate

These are the counter ultimates your group needs to have. Any of these will make the difference especially Sorc Templar and Nightblade ultimates.

... roll in your keeps, chaising you up and down the stairs ... roll out again (dunno why, maybe it got boring) ... roll over to farm (where a 2 alliance fight is running) ... roll over everyone not-up-a-tree-within 2s... roll around keep ... roll back to farm (players have been resurected by now) ... roll around tower... ... ... rolling rolling rolling ...

Yep, its a little annoying, not bc of dying (one gets used to look out for bus approaching and enters a fight only with a suitable tree choosen already)... so no, its not about dying at all, but its anoying bc it breaks otherwise really engaging fights, heavy combat is just turned into everyone fleeing in all directions ... bc tooot toot *bus stop* ... its annoying.

One big issue with it is that it doesn't always indicate that it is an enemy EoTF...so you don't know you need to move until you are already dead.

Standing in a negate should protect you from it, but it doesn't...that's the only change needed.

    I agree.

@ZOS_RichLambert Please implement an eye of the storm stack limit.
No more than 2x ultimates can be used in one place.
If more than 2x eye of the storm are active in one place, only the first 2 ultimates will damage enemies.
I know my suggestion isn't perfect but it may solve this balance issue without nerfing the ultimate ability's base damage further.

    Thanks :)
