ESO Forums seem to be filled with fake news

It's a Forum, so sifting out the good stuff from the useless is always going to be a challenge.
Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

Once these words have been turned into doublespeak they have no real meaning anymore.

There are also some smarter people out there who have agendas and like to stir things up to achieve their goals.

the only place I've noticed the sustain issues is in groups. Just questing, its as its always been.

...because reading lines of NPC dialogue and collecting X number of Skeever skins doesn't require any kind of sustain...

Exactly. In groups, you aren't the only one with issues with sustain. The other three most likely are and overall it makes the run less fun and sometimes just a chore to complete. I get that people love the holding one mouse button down. I look at the forums like this. Those that complain are doing the same thing those that wish they'd stop complaining are doing. Both are just complaining. Only one is about the game and the other has this need for everyone to like what they do. That's never going to happen. If people enjoy the game as it is, that's great. But no one cares. Even they aren't actually talking about the game but just attempting to tell others they are wrong.

These forums are one of the worst of any of the games I play. But I think that's a reflection of the job the devs are doing with it. Those other games have more communication. Less crazy changes (at least not any more). Attempting to find new ways to challenge their players without how they played the old content in the past. The games have matured as well as their developers to know not every crazy idea needs to be tried.

People who are happy with the game don't usually post threads about how happy they are. People who are unhappy (or who think they might be in the future after a patch) rush on here to scream and whine and declare the game is "ruined." Meanwhile, the happy people are busy playing the game.
    Yet here you are!
So which type of people that makes you?
Well, I played the game for over 6 hours today, and have been on the forums for a grand total of probably 15 minutes, so I'd say that makes me a happy ESO player. B)

the problem is that ZOS don't care about old players, only new ones. They need money and old players wont give em. So they careless about how you dealing with heavy attacks, sustain or else. You paid for the game, so now it's only your problem like it or not.

You're kinda right to be honest

No, forums are to give them feedback. Nothing would happen if we held hands and song "kombayaa".

This post is just another good example, why we need the damn Surveys. Obviously theres million idea/thought around the Forum, it makes sense after 3 year everybody has made own opinion on the game, like the saying goes, opinions are like a-holes, they are everywhere, that sums it up here. Its kinda fun Game needs streamlining but so does Forum too, but hey thats how it goes.

Everyone who says that endgamers are pulling lower numbers, isn't that the very definition of lowering the ceiling? And wasn't that a stated aim of the patch?

    So... #workingasintended

So OP you are looking at this the wrong way.

The sky really could of been falling, but through tears and "feedback" it didn't really happen. As to say outcry have there place in societies even the digital ones. It's check and balance, you only see the end result, but there were many changes that made it more enjoyable for players to transition into stage. So thank your nameless game masters, your admins, your devs, along with your beta testers.

    The sky didn't fall :p

    Well, believe it or not.

I did test in PTS using the same setup as on live (before patch) and adjusting CPs as I got them on live now (after patch). DPS on PTS was ~25-30% lower then on live (before patch) and only about 5-10% lower then on live (after patch).

I did write about what I tested and how i experienced it as accurate as I could. Wether the actual differences in PTS and live (before and after patch) are due to implemented changes not working (on live-> see HA analysis thread claiming it doesn't work), bugged gear (on PTS -> see thread claiming pelinals doesn't increase dmg of adjusted damage type) or a totally new glitch and bug or combination of those is not to be decided by me.

We asked for the data to do such analysis (see -> thread about: "Please realease those numbers") and have been ignored.
We asked about more time to test ... mainly to test the last changes introduced during 3.06 ... to at least gasp a whole picture about all changes - and have been ignored.

Personally I think, saying player feedback is just lies and panicking isn't fair to all players that actually tested and provided feedback. I think the negative feedback in this forum ... as well as the reasons for it steem from one point OP didn't mention: the lack of communication between ZOS and their playerbase. The lack of trust in the swarm inteligence of many people willing to test their product, free of charge and in their spare time.

    My thoughts on this.
