The problem that every producer of a product or provider of a service has is that, no matter how popular it may become, the "good" becomes stale. Marketing is all about making a generic "good" into a distinctive one, identified as a "brand". Brand loyalty of customers is the goal. As a Chinese proverb states, "The secret to wealth is repeat business."The next move will be to raise level cap add more attribute points (make you regrind all your gear saying it's the best way to fix things) then moving up those "max level caps" they put on everything. It is forcing a many many times failed system of nonsense tried by many many other mmo's who think people want to do the exact same thing 100's of times for the same crap over and over.
Nice twist, but the original remark "One definition of insanity is to continue doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results." was made as a joke.The true definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. Copying what other people do trying to succeed where they fail is the same thing as doing it over and over yourself.
