It will probably depend on what Bethesda has planned for the next TES game.

I would love Elsweyr if done correctly but I fear ZoS would not, with the amount of lore they've already broken, especially by having Cyrodiil as open plains and not a jungle province as it is supposed to be at this time in history. There is so many complexities to Elsweyr so I would prefer it untouched. Such as Khajiit sub-breeds. I forget their names but there is a house cat khajiit which thinks like regular khajiit's except cannot display what it wishes. The Khajiit's that from afar look so much like humans you could easily mistake them, a breed that looks incredibly similar to bosmer and again from afar would struggle to tell the difference. Huge warcat type species which are intelligent and are hired as mounts for khajiit's to go into battle on.

The religion system is so different with daedric princes etc. One example is that Sheogorath is (in khajiit culture) a mad skooma cat... HOW COOL IS THAT????

You see there are so many subtleties that I fear ZoS would get incredibly wrong, I prefer Elsweyr to be left alone unless they can guarantee it's compliance with every aspect of lore.

But yes Spellcrafting would be an altmer thing. In datamined quest dialoge they are very magically driven and it encompasses their entire lives.

(Which I would like to point out has a lot written and has been in the game datamined since it came out. Crystal tower maormer sload. The whole sky being an ossuary.
Ooiynaam a magical sound magic bell that explode maormer heads. Varline and varla lens magical leylines that power townsteads.
Imagoform statue shaping magic. The landquake a tear in the land with a maormer landship that sails through rock and earth.)

Elder Scrolls hasn't done a single thing about the Khajiit yet. And we already know they've been developing Murkmire.

If it's in order it'll b Oblivion/Summerset n then Skyrim.

It's definitely AD's turn for new content. I'd prefer Summerset, but it would be fun to see Elsweyr, too.

I want them both, but they'd have to work to make sure the Summerset Isles isn't just a copy of Auridon. They'd really have to work hard to make it unique and exciting.

I'd like Summerset, Elsweyr, or the rest of the Argonian area they were supposedly working on.
