So the way I see it is something like this. Would I have paid 15 dollars for a new zone with 30 hours of content? Yes, for sure. Would I have paid another 15 dollars to be able to do battlegrounds with my friends? Yes, sounds about right. Would I have paid 10 dollars for the first new class ever? You betcha.
That add's up to 40 dollars. So When I think like that, i accept that I don't mind the entry price.
That said. It's certainly not a full on expansion, which has saddened me somewhat. I do wish there was more meat to it. But regardless, I found it worthwhile.

Damn tired of these threads. Can there be a separate catagory for all the negative whinging moaning end-of-the-game Zos only after the money posts/threads please?

Vvardenfell is a great zone that I could have played in its ENTIRETY on the original Morrowind. I don't do any Trials, and i'll probably hardly play a Warden, the class isn't that interesting. Many, many people are also furious that we were told it would be a full expansion, only to be screwed over by a company I've been supporting since BETA
They still have a week till release undI got my money's worht, because I got the digital collector's edition as a gift ^^
I've enjoyed the solo content, but my interest is BGs, and in over a week I've only managed to join 3 games... The queue has been broken the rest of the time.
The pricetag for this chapter would have been ok if their product worked on release. But as usual, it's ZOS so nothing works.
Do NOT get me wrong, from what i observe people who like Morrowind are mostly solo-players who spend 90% of their play time by questing and role playing and have no interest in endgame pve-pvp content.
At this point I feel the Morrowind "Expansion" is a complete waste of money. We've essentially paid 40$+ for a new class, an incomplete map, and BG's that don't function because you cant get in. A 40$ nostalgia fee is pretty ridiculous ZoS. Get it together

SO you are suggesting that players over 30 years old whine more than kids? lol

Think this guy nailed it. I would slightly change the numbers but if they broke it and put it in the crown store it would be more than reasonable. $25 for a new zone and story. $15 for the new class along with some bonus stuff like a free outfit and crate. $10 for battlegrounds. That is $50 not $40 and I would buy all three without a thought and maybe buy Warden on my alt account as well.

A personal opinion not shared by all.

Which is why its an opinion, certainly not an unpopular one from what I've been reading either.

Morrowind is a success.
You didn't SERIOUSLY expect a quality product from ZoS did you? I mean... the only ridiculousness would be to EXPECT value for your money.
They have time and time again proven they are unable or unwilling (or both) to deliver quality, bug-free products and updates and their nerfs and "game direction" border on a split personality disorder... and you expect... something GOOD from them?
Fair enough. And as an individual who hasn't even played it yet, your opinion is meaningless to me. That's how these things work
