I was talking to this NPC in Daggerfall Mages Guild and I just realised from her chat as to why ZOS made Magicka builds way way better than Stamina in ESO

Flameheart✭✭✭✭✭Cool Statement from the NPC, but you will realize the limits when Stormwarden Needir in Tempest Islands roundhouse kicks you because of standing too long on range, other bosses continously jump at farer away standing players due to scripted attacks so that you have to block, need to be healed and waste ressources for reapplying ground dots (actually we are swimming in magicka now after the sustain nerf - sarcasm off). If you ever stood on an outer position in AA at the mage you will realize that there is no healing circle and you are far from the usual bubble highway.
It all has its pros and cons, situationwise. Otherwise see my sig.
