24 hours isn't significant when you've got 30 days to research (not including reduce buffs) an item and the 20 hour cool down practically means people will throw their money away buying these scrolls.
ZoS is hoping people don't understand math to see why these scrolls are a waste of money.
They would have done much better to sell scrolls which allow you to completely research an item, with a 20 hour cool down.
This way, people who are woefully lacking in researching can easily catch up.
ESPECIALLY SINCE RESEARCHING IS NOW POINTLESS SINCE ZOS IMPLEMENTED DUNGEON DROPS WHICH NEGATES CRAFTING COMPLETELY.
Don't waste your money, please.
Maybe it's a sign. Transmog is soon or jelewery crafting!!!
Don't get your hopes up. They won't make any money off of incorporating that into the game itself and not charging about 100 dollars a pop on their cash shop. You can already glamour everything, and I mean everything in final fantasy 14 though. And it won't cost you any extra, it's included in the game. You simply need to find the quest for it (it is level 50, so new players will need to finish their main story first but you won't have much worth preserving the appearance of as you level until you begin to get the cool gear anyways) but the prisms to use it geenrally are around 1200 gil on my server. Which is cheap af, you get gil easily in FF14 unlike in eso where even the rmt are expensive af to reflect how much of pita getting gold is rofl.
If some players want to use their money to purchase the scrolls, so what. Why the need to say don't buy them?A cash grab and nothing more... Don't waste your money, please.
(Emphasis added)I really can though. That MMOs have catered to the terminally-short-of-patience is unsurprising. The idea that it is inevitable? That's even worse
