Eghh 73 undaunted keys and not one llambris..

I have a video on my Xbox profile. I started to save up my undaunted keys after about 100 single attempts and only recieving one llambris arm cops with the training trait. I decided to save up my keys and use them all at once but no.. how is it over 100 attempts on the Redbeard chest and not one drop?? I have 12 troll king 4 selenes 4 stormfists among others. I know the drop rate is horrible but didn't think it was this bad. Also of those 73 keys I received only 2 divine's TWO! For stamina.. I'm so aggervated. All that time invested and nothing to show for it, shouldn't be this way...

If only there was some sort of token type system that could be implemented.

That is not how RNG works, your first key has the same chances as your 157th key.
If you think this is bad, clearly you were not around when there was a good chance that you get NO shoulder from the chests AND the most chances you had a day was only 2, not six like right now.
That illambris shoulder in triaining is still better then not having it, you lose only .8% crit chance, so just wear it for now.2 -

xmaveri✭✭✭I'm going through and I don't have any magika based shoulders all those keys and maybe 3 or 4 the rest are stamina and health mainly stamina a theirs got to be something in place keeping my magika player from recieving magika shoulders.. I'm only using the Redbeard chest is that right? I don't understand and honestly it's frustrating me to the point where it's turning me off this game.Edited by xmaveri on May 29, 2017 6:03AM0

If you have head +shoulder of illambris and the of your armor in julinanos, yes. This is the way you ought to have set your armor up anyways, five body, plus anything else for head, shoulder, weapon and jewelry.1 -

It's unfortunate this game is so awesome and the potential it has is great but these issues are what "bore" players and turn them into other games. I've never spent 50+hours on another game farming an item and not even coming close. Oh and all 6 of of the IG shoulders were all infused, tell me that's random and not fixed in any way. I just beat wgt on vet to receive garbage I'm so sick of this.0 -

If you have head +shoulder of illambris and the of your armor in julinanos, yes. This is the way you ought to have set your armor up anyways, five body, plus anything else for head, shoulder, weapon and jewelry.
Well thank you, figures I don't have the shoulders anymore.. I just saw them in my bank a few days ago, unfortunately I did clean house a bit and broke down allot of items I'm not using. Must have slipt through the cracks

While I feel for your bad luck and wish the idea of change did not fade away. @ZOS_MattFiror (pretty sure it was matt and not rich) spoke about considering changes to some drop items and mentioned the undaunted chests specifically. I am pretty sure it was in an interview shortly after Morrowind was announced. Could have been housing.
One of the biggest draw backs to the game is the gear grind. It is made even more pitiful since so much changes in the game every 3 months and many BiS builds do better with different gear requiring more grinding.
Weapons are the worst. I would not be surprised if a large number of serious players, regardless of elite of moderate, will have second thoughts about continuing when the level cap is increased if something is not done about the gear RNG.
