When I buy Morrowind can I play it on multiple accounts?

Hi everyone.

Very keen for Morrowind. I have two characters and I intend to play it with each of them. I have them on different accounts as I prefer that the characters be separate. My question is if I buy the digital version of Morrowind will it be accessible for both accounts? The other DLC is not.

What about a physical copy? I would prefer to buy a physical copy but that only comes bundled with the full game. But that might be cheaper than buying Morrowind for both accounts.

I know its not out yet but would anyone know?

Thank you most kindly.

PS4, North American server.

    In a word, no.

You buy to activate Morrowind content on a given account. If you could buy once and use it on two accounts, you could buy once and post the code in public so EVERYONE could use it. One purchase, one code, one account.

This has been discussed before and people jump in the threads with no proof either way. The honest answer is we must wait to see.

ZoS has neither confirmed or denied it (unless I missed it recently).

I bought ESO digitally and I can play it on either of my consoles in the house. My wife can play it on the main console while I play it on another.

DLC is different as it is through the crown store. Morrowind is not through the crown store - that is why this is even a question.

Are you both logged in to the same account when playing ESO on two different consoles?

Not sure why people refuse to believe it and think Morrowind will be any different. Do you honestly think ZOS is going let multiple accounts on a console have $40.00 expansion for free when they wont let you share a mount pet or costume purchased on other console accounts .....

Just to satisfy you, below is a response ZOS Support in response to a submitted a service ticket on this very question .....

Here's the LINK as you probably will not believe what I quoted below ......

    Greetings!

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team. My name is Robert, and it's a pleasure to be assisting you today.

While multiple players can use the same copy of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited on the same console, you would need to own two copies of the Morrowind upgrade if you are playing on two accounts. Each Morrowind upgrade is attributed to a unique ESO account.

Thank you for your continued interest and support!

    Warm Regards,
    Robert

Two different gamertags in the same Xbox gold family.

Thank you. I accept this. If for some reason it turns out to work then great.

Interesting. I didn't know that's possible. I though XBox abandoned the family thing at X1 launch. Thanks for the reply.

That doesnt proof anything as it just Talks about morrowind Upgrade which you have to apply with a Code to the existing account.

It doesnt say anything about how the morrowind Base game package works
