So much gold has been wasted so far on furnishing my place up. 1.3 mil to buy my Amaya lake lounge and ive spent atleast 700k on furnishings, 150k being vivecs statue. Man while this game needs gold sinks its a bit frustrating to furnish your homes

It's almost like they didn't set that number based on what people want. It's almost like they base it on what they perceive is the performance limit3 -
Coggage✭✭✭✭Meh, I have the 3 free houses which I just use to port to. That's all houses are good for to me. I'll never buy a house let alone bother to put furniture in the houses I have.1

✭✭✭Before housing hit I had 16 million gold on my main account, from it's release till 5/21 I have made 10.6 million gold. I now have about 1.5 million gold. About 1.5-2 million gold was not spent on housing. That leaves me with a figure around 23 million that was spent on housing.
But I do have every attuned crafting station from all DLCs(including Morrowind), both Mage's and Fighter's guild, Craglorn, and Coldharbour. What a surprise! I never would have thought...
But yeah, some of the things are a bit painful to purchase at those prices, even if my expenses are nowhere near what the housemasters here put into it. But hey, that's how it goes, right?
Oh? If that was the case, how come bigger houses get more item slots? You say, more server resources allocated to bigger houses? So, what's to stop them from allocating the same amount of server resources to a smaller house, and double its item space? Thinking about it like that... i daresay performance limit may have less to do with it, at the very least not with the smaller houses.
Now, I am not saying they should just give that our for free... all I am saying, they could very well sell extra housing space in the crown store. Pay 500 crowns, get 100 extra spaces or whatever...
I love small and cluttered houses, so I'd probbaly buy it.0 -
