Skill point resets and research

So I am in the middle of researching a bunch of things.. In particular I am about 15 days from being a 9 trait woodworker. But I also want to take advantage of the skill point reset discount.
If I reset my skill points, do I just lose all but one of my ongoing research?, that is pretty concerning considering it is nirnhoned.

✭✭✭✭✭No, the timer goes back to full time, not reduced but it continues to research. In essence you gain 'free' extra slots.
I.e. If you are 3/3 research and do a reset and out zero back in you remain 3/1 researching

✭Won't affect it if you put the skill pts back in for research. You could also buy the research scrolls from the Crown Store to reduce time by a day....expensive though. I've respec'd many times on my Crafters and never had an issue.0 -

You won't lose any progress if you put the research passive back to 3/3.
Also remember, if you purchased Morrowind, there are added skill points there with the skyshards, public dungeons, main quest, etc.0 -

✭Have you seen patch notes that say the discount will expire shortly,after drop? Because usually a skill point recast discount lasts until the next significant patch. Last summer it lasted about two months.0
