2 Handed light attack spammable an option?

As a 2 hander user in pvp and in pve I wanted to try something last night but unfortunately I didn't get a lot of time to get to use it. So before I get off work today I wanted to see if anyone has ever tried substituting a class spammable (for me right now it's the warden bird) with light attacks focusing on the new champion tree buffs such as Physical weapons expert and master of arms? As a stam warden the bird is too slow to hit IMO and as a stamplar I miss my jabs since I love to use spears. I wonder with the champion tree buffs above coupled by the 2 handers forceful passive, could light attacks (of course mixed with heavy and class skills) used as a spammable work effectively? Has anyone tried something like this?

On a side note, as a warden running Green lotus with this light attack scheme it could create a similar puncturing sweeps heal for a stamina user. I think this would also proc the maturation passive making us a bit tougher.

It may work, just be wary that ironclad and expert defender directly counter the CP you're discussing.

I had figured it would as well which would help us in the PVE department for sure. I'm not a big number cruncher but hopefully I'll have more time tonight to do some testing and see how it feels.

I tried out two-handed with the Ravager set on my DK tank last night and it was pretty cool. With molten armaments active, the heavy attack/ reverse slice execute combo usually procs Ravager, and it melts away large groups of mobs in instanced dungeons. The best part is heavy / light attacks rely on weapon damage 40x as much as Stamina, so even though my 40,000 health tank only had 16000 stamina, it was still tearing through groups of PVE mobs with the buffed 3500 weapon damage. I was getting up to 24,000 crit heavy hits that would distribute around via forceful.
