How do you feel about the changes? I am Having trouble using it in gameplay. What are you doing? Is it better to use heavy attack instead with elemental drain?

I encountered an issue in trials with dark exchange. I can't seem to use in anymore in gameplay with the addition of 0.4 time. With the addition of less migration for the champion tree and less healing... I have people dying less even in trials.

    Huuuh? It changed? I thought they just added a 0.2 seconds longer animation making the animation 1.2 seconds instead of 1.

    I haven't spent much time on my Stam sorc since the patch hit, but I honestly, have not noticed this.

    With the caveat that I'm using Dark Deal, not dark exchange... nope, I've only got the 1.2 cast time going. And, there's no global cooldown after Dark Deal resolves. I can immediately go into another ability. Flicking Dark Deal over to Endless Hail is still a little chunky feeling, but that's not new.

    You can get stuck for longer sometimes and can't bar swap . I don't like it much .

    I'm really not following your math. At all.

    But I've used DE since the patch, and didn't really notice a difference. Of course, I was busy trying not to die and so didn't have my stopwatch out, but all seemed fine.

    I think the point of the .2 addition to the animation was simply to make it more visible to our opponents in PvP. Not a lot of counters to DE/DD, and none at all if they miss the hand-wave. So now the hand-wave is a tiny bit longer.
    Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

    Okay before using another skill there a 2 sec cool down so I was getting frustrated at the skill. I am not talking about the 0.2 , but 2.0 secs afterwards.

    But there's not. Just the usual .9 global cooldown. I DE right into bolt escape just like always.

    Yeah I seem to read it wrong . I suppose I am struggling with 0.4 secs of gameplay. Ridiculous as it may sound, I was having trouble in trials with this so I was geniully looking for help but what should I except from the forums . On point I found myself struggling to keep people alive and cast orbs in the trial. I just wanted to know what I was doing wrong so I could help people. It was just a normal trial... I can't see myself doing veteran or anymore trials anymore... this is frustrating.

    Well it's .4 not 0.2 so you guys didn't know all information either. Some of you even thought there was no difference. There's a difference and I wanted to know how to work with changes, but I suppose it's pointless now to ask for help.

    regardless, trying using 3x regen glyphs and orzorga's red frothgar (+hp / mag recovery) to sustain better. heavy attack with resto staff also restores a crazy amount of mana if you have pts into tenacity (which you should)

    At 2200 + magicka recovery with the witchmother brew. I am trying extemly hard to keep people alive, but I don't know if it's me or them. I . But people are dying faster, and getting one shotted, so I don't know what to do . I am using the orbs till I running out of magicka heavy attacking, but something isn't working. I tried using dark exchange to make it up, but that's too long to use in fluid game play it's like using blood altar in the middle of trial fight. I mean last week I did veteran trials this week... I am questioning if I can even do normals anymore.

    buffed or unbuffed? i have 2700 recovery unbuffed and that was okay when i was doing vHoF on PTS.

    you cannot really spam orbs anymore as they are extremely expensive. costs the same as a breath of life for me.

    can't heal thru 1-shots and i think you should also remind people to stack within the radius of a springs. just make sure you have a springs down before tossing buffs. a good practice is to springs before you barswap

    Use balance (equilibrum). it gives major resists also.
