Sound stuttering

Khajiit recently made her human alt get a new magic box. It is a better magic box than the previous magic box in all ways.

Now this one she experiences the stuttering of the sound sometimes - only the sound yes - everything else is mostly fine. Khajiit she had no such issues on the previous magic box.

It appears to be sounds caused by others - such as combat sounds or the spamming of spells when others they ride past. Almost like the sounds perhaps do not load in so well.

The human tells me she has no such issues when travelling to other lands such as the Northern Kingdoms or Nuka Cola World. Only in Tamriel does this happen yes.

It is not of world changing consequence but is a little irritating sometimes.

Does anyone perhaps have experience of a similar issue and perhaps a suggested solution?

This one would be grateful for any solutions that do not involve water or fire or summonings.

@SantieClaws Delete the usersettings file. Remembering back to when their were a lot of sound & texture problems with the game, deleting the file fixed the issue.

I also suggest disabling and re-enabling the sound in game and see if this works.
Instruction on how to do this can be found below:

PC/Mac players can mute the game from the main menu which is displayed on the left side of the login and character creation screens. It can also be opened in game by tapping the [Esc] key. From here:
•On the Main Menu, click on Settings.
•Under Settings, click on Audio. This will open a window containing sliders for the different sound options in the game.
•Adjust these sliders as needed, and then simply close the window by tapping ESC or clicking on a different Main Menu option to save the new settings.
•To restore all Audio settings to their default status, open the Audio slider window again and click on Restore Defaults at the bottom of the screen.

This one she has tried all of these things with no success. The human has also done a full repair.

The human is using speakers that have an pointy plug but is using a convertor to make them fit into a USB slot.

This one she wonders if this might have an effect - although the human alt tells me no other games they are affected? This one she has got the human some USB headphones and will see if that does anything to help.

All the other games they are single player and offline though maybe that can make a difference?

Is audio lag alone even possible yes?

Khajiit is able to travel on the highest graphic settings very comfortably. Only the sound it is an issue.

Perhaps at the weekend this one may be able to make a short film and show you what happens if the human is unable to resolve it by then.

Same problem here, for a few weeks now. In my case, no new magic device, the same "old" one. It's a micro sound stuttering, as if I had audio lag, especially when in combat, but when riding in the wilderness it can appears as well. It's very irritating and immersion breaking.
