XBOX NA long loads from login, on... in game PVE lag

Started noticing this last night (XBOX NA), getting long loads starting at the initial login, also seeing a lot of lag in PVE areas (items slow to react, enemies have VERY noticeable death lag.

Are the mega-severs hurting?

my point is it's become more pronounced than I've ever seen it before. Seems to be getting worse... and PVE, not even PVP during zergs.

I get a lot of lag on boss fights, switching bars is sometimes unresponsive. Whoops used wrong Ultimate

As well as logging in to the game.

Yeah last night, i kept hard casting frags when i thought i weapon swapped to liquid lightning. I bet the people in my group were like damn this dude is really hard casting frags again lol

I cant count how many times I was 3 skills into my rotation just to realize I was on the wrong bar using the wrong skills.

Yeah I hear ya. The games performance has gotten substantially worse in the last year(Xbox NA atleast). I just recently canceled my ESO+ membership because of terrible optimization and lag. I'm all for financially supporting a game I enjoy but the devs clearly have no plans in the foreseeable future improve the quality on Xbox. Even PS4(not Pro) doesn't have as many issues.

Same, was wandering Malabal Tor and decided to solo WB @ windshriek strand. The troll that has harpy adds. As soon as the first wave of harpies came out, immediate lag. Bar swap unresponsive 2/3 of the time. Sadly I was using my tank and didn't want to abandon the fight so I dealt with it for 15 min. Note: its a pretty isolated world boss and there were no other players I could see. Certainly no one else participated in the fight. Rather abnormal lag...

This happens before every DLC/expansion. My understanding of the issue is that new code is going to be patched in so less resources are put into maintenance of old code, and more resources are put into patching, preparing to patch in new code and new problems. Essentially, its going to get worse and then it will get a little better.

My ESO sub stopped on 22 May. I will be getting Tomorrowind but I'm not paying every month for the lag and bugs that don't seem to be tended to.

I realize these things will always be present (playing MMOs for over 15 years) but people expect more for their money now more than ever.

My money is just too good to throw away every month for this. Now I can buy an extra pizza every month!

So I been playing on Xbox since it came out and ya the game was really really bad when I first started playing on Xbox. "Was also playing on xbox one first gen" but as soon as I got an upgrade on my Internet and started running Google fiber 1G up and 1G down for my Xbox "and upgrade to the Xbox one S" and NOTHING else the game runs great almost zero lag never crash in PVE land "trials, dungeons, VDSA, VMA" Other then the buzzzzzzzzz crap that goes on with Xbox every few weeks. So I get where ppl are coming from my brother plays the game as well but he lives in a different town and he has slow Internet since they dont offer Google fiber where he lives and I have seen him play and it's almost unpleasant to watch with crashing over in over during prime time in PVP around big battles. I know there many bugs and exploits on Xbox and many things zos has to fix but when it comes to lag and crashing. I have not had any problems with it after all the upgrades and ya it sucks knowing I had to spend a lot of money to play one game but if you enjoy it then it's worth it.

As a person who has been a network engineer for 20+ years now at the provider level, the one thing I can say for certain it's the problem is not on my network, nor on the network of my home provider.

Well I don't know what to tell you since I have zero problems playing any content of the game but as I first said before I did an upgrade on my Internet and Xbox the game ran like crap and was really unplayable but once all the changes came into play nothings wrong at all I run in trial groups and watch ppl DC all the time with maybe 1-5 of us sitting there and also I said as well I have nothing running into my router other then Xbox 50ft cat6 no WiFi or anything
