Nightblade - Assassin's Blade: Increase Damage done while in stealth?

    It would hopefully incentivise against/prevent the HA opener + skill that is even more powerful than just the 200%, since if you heavy attack the enemy first, it no longer counts as from stealth.

    They need to give nightblades SOMETHING for stealing away one of the nightblades class defining attributes (attacking from stealth).

    Of course they won't... because nightblades aren't the chosen class - which was sorcerers (and still is to some degree) but is now Wardens (cue trumpets from heaven).

    @Avran_Sylt To be quite honest, giving my idea suggested to the base morph of assassins blade would be unfair. Stamina has to get up close and personal while a magicka nightblade has shields and can range the boss. Risk reward. Stamina nightblades are the worst dps in game, this would change their value. In my opinion magicka nightblade is in a pretty good spot after the assassins will changes. Not everything needs to go both magicka and stamina.

    Snipe + Crit Rsuh (with vMA 2H) + Loading Heavy during Crit Rush + Proc Sets All hitting at once or nearly at once, from 22m away, NB not even required.     You really should see builds with 2h ulti. Only Nb can do things like this with it. Yes it's not nb skills but 10% critical dmg , 9% more wep dmg , minor berserk , auto crit those are all things that nb brings to the table. None other class is close to dmg that nb pull with that ulti not mentioning only nb can sneak close to enemie without risk of beeing revealed (cloak is immmune to base detection range , hide isnt)

    What do you think should happen to improve Nightblades? Because right now, playing a Nightblade feels like playing a Sorcerer with no damage shields and no pets.

    I've made on of those 2H ulti builds. Clever Alchemist, Viper's, Velidreth, Poison Enchant, Nirnhorned 2H. It's bloody *** OP, prior to the stealth nerfs I was was hitting 17K with that from stealth. I freaking hate that ability since it and the 2H class are essentially all the good shite of the NB crammed into one weapon class.

    High Damage single target instant ultimate (Incap), but it also grants you added protections (inverse of incap) and ignores resistances.
    Single Target Gap Closer that deals Crit damage (Ambush+cloakcrit) but also increases damage based on distance
    High damage single target ability (uppercut) = Surprise attack, but' it also grants empower (wrecking blow) or stuns+knockback (dizzy)
    Snare removal + immunity from momentum (Med armor skill) + Heal per 2 sec (terrible siphoning attacks) + Brutality
    Execute ability (reverse slash) = Assassin's Blade

    It literally takes the assassin (burst + some escape) role and slots it into a single weapon class while giving it some resource sustain on kills with paltry sustain via momentum and the shield from brawler.

    Edit: In a pvp sense of course. only thing that NB's really shine with is the added escape.

    Assasin's blade does undefendable damage. Still scales off health. Allows a NB to kill a target that gets to 10% health and goes into perma block or perma shield spam mode. Won't impact targets above 25% health that much since the base damage is much lower. It's a finisher.... allow it to actually finish something.

    Mark Target grants the crit bonus from stealth that was removed as part of morrowind. Still allows a gank but the target has an idea it may be coming.

    Add a poison dot that increases in damage as long as the Nb is within 10m of it's target.

    Just random thoughts.
