I wouldn't mind so much, only that a lot of the quests in the east of vvardenfell require you to travel back and forth through shallow water of which apparently I'm too short to touch the floor in :'(
Or maybe it's a blessing in disguise and a nice way to keep fit and healthy

That is hilarious. I only made one character relatively short, but he makes up for it in circumference. I never would have thought about treading water having an effect on the character's height. Good to know.

Who made fording rivers depending on character height in the first place? and on an mount to make it more absurd.
That would require some planning, that is its no way it can be just random, simplest would just be to have an fixed depth.
Obvious ZoS Solution is to nerf Altmer.Grinding just make you go in circles.
