Please Keep Level Constant Rather than Number Of Materials When Crafting.

It's a bit irritating to choose the armour you want to craft put in the correct number of materials for the correct level for a piece of armour and then have to change it up and down for all the other pieces.

On a number of times (Mostly crafting Training gear for new Toons) I make the chest then make the rest without noticing that the level is changing and end up having to redo, yes people can say just look at the level changing and adjust the materials but my point is why, when crafting things, does the number of Materials used remain constant from piece to piece rather than level remaining constant, which makes far more sense?

It's a tiny quality of life thing but would be appreciated. :)

    Agreed. It's such an easy thing to not notice if you expect the system to work in a sensible way, which it definitely does not. And then you've wasted mats on stuff your character isn't cool enough to wear yet.

    For the love of Akathosh, let us set the Level for the items we want to make and leave that level until we change it, not change it when we change what we are making.


    FYI We have wanted this since Late Alpha/Early Beta, ZOS has never budged on this.

    Totally agree...I suddenly had 3 pieces that was 4 levels too high,and no more materials.. kinda bummed me out :D

    My other pet peeve is when you go to a specific crafting station and craft something, only to find it defaulted to the generic piece of armour instead of the set version.

    I thought they had fixed that so it would default to the set version but last night fulfilling a master writ I was almost caught out when it didn't.

    I know, "pay attention", but it's the little things that make the world a better place :)

    Good grief, have they still not fixed this bug? My +1 that this really does need to be fixed. It's worst of all when you're very low level and struggling for materials, but it's also annoying when you're crafting a complete set for someone else.
