Seems incredible, cannot wait till they admit it's a DLC and drop it into the ESO+ subs..

Will never, ever happen, from what I have heard pre orders were huge and ZoS is already fleshing out it's next paid Expansion after the next two DLC's.

It's a brilliant business model because it works so well.

Is this the thread that where everyone is smoking "skooma"?

I'm sure Morrowind story is great, the music is nice, and the graphics look awesome. Howerver, this update is ripping me apart from ESO. And this new warden is driving me crazy, everywhere I go someone is spamming ice on me.

    I'm going to bed.

Truth is, the majority of people post something to the forums because something is going wrong, they're angry or are trying to get info on something they don't know..... those who are enjoying the game are actually playing it and having fun with friends. Hence the seeming overabundance of negativity. But most people I encounter in game are friendly, fun and great human beings! Play-on all!

    Dearest developers,

So I have played from the beginning, Arena, and the others, and when the single player Morrowind came out I was enamored, and spent hours on that game on my console, and loved the game.

Then today I woke, and gathered up my courage, making not one, but three toons and then instead of questing, walked all over Vvardenfell, taking in the glory, (and a few mistakes) that is the beauty if this chapter. I am breathless and have been ohhhing and ahhing all night. I am glad to have purchased this game and I look forward to the hours and hours of entertainment as I often lead shard runs in Cyrodiil, and explore all I can of the previous content. I plan on seeing the battlegrounds very soon.

Thanks to all of you, because it takes a whole team to make this possible. Keep on rocking and I'll keep on playing!

Sorry if I don't add much but...

    THANK YOU ZOS :)
As a Morrowind TESIII fan... I'm sooo happy, this is perfect, I wasn't expecting this level of detail. It is so clear you put a lot of love remaking Vvardenfell, you can see it in the music, the voice acting, everywhere!! I LOVE IT. :):):):)

Seyda Neen , the silt strider... I just arrived to Vivec, entered a canton, I can't believe how beautiful and respectful to the source it is! Thank youuu

The story so far.. O_O Wonderful! My only fear is not to be able to leave this game until I finish it. XD

Yes sorry for being such a fangirl, that's it, close thread if necessary. <3<3

I'll second that. I have not explored everything, but what I have seen brings back a lot of fun memories.

    They were.

And so was the number of pre-orders they had to pay back when the people with those pre-orders got into Beta and saw just how bad the game was.

Of the people I know in game about 30% of them pre-ordered, and about a 3rd of those pre-orders then cancelled and got a refund when they tried the PTS.

A lot of my friends canceled their pre-orders. I don't pre-order on principle but If I had, I would have canceled as well. Never before have a seen a development team with such an amazing IP thrown into their lap act as imconpetently and almost maliciously as ZOS.

Good to read about the good impressions it leaves too, OP.

I am an ESO fangirl as i never really played the older TES games, i actually even was thick headed enough once to correct someone when they referred to it as TES game, never heard of it lolol.

I am still on the fence about buying it or not because of all the changes, i am not sure if i like the way its headed i really dislike heavy attacking and throwing in the bone of making it slightly less annoying at the cost of less damage didnt magically take that feeling away like it did for others aparently.

But its posts like these that actually do make me reconsider, so thanks for that.
    Apologies for beign longwinded haha.

    Actually its not debatable...at all.

    It is an opinion....

I hate to be THIS person... but just pointing out that the fact it's an opinion is the exact reason it IS debatable. Opinions are debatable, facts are not.

I'm enjoying i so far, haven't had much time to look around, but it's good so far.

The only thing i don't like is the new character screen music, it's a great piece of music, but it just doesn't feel elder scrolls to me, the combination of violins, vocal harmonies, and heavy pounding drum, and the way it's put together, it sound more Age of Conan than Elder Scrolls to me, i actually logged in the first time and went to make a cup fo tea, when i came back the music was playing and as i entered my office i thought to myself "hmn, i don't remember loading AoC up".

Is there any way to get back he old music?

Moronwind price was never the issue. Its the fact that it was placed outside of the subscription model and not really an expansion.

If its worth the cost in dollars, its worth the cost in crowns.

I disagree, I payed $60 AUD for the regular digitial upgrade (no collectors edition). I cant blame anyone but myself, but all I got was a new trial, a game mode that doesn't work when trying to play with friends aka battlegrounds and a new class that I will probably never have the opportunity to play.

For that same price I could have gone and bought a whole new game with loads of replay ability value. Im extremely disappointed with this update and its really underwhelming, all hope that I had for this game is now gone. The raiding community which I have come to love will die. PvP is also uber trash and will become more zerg reliant then ever. Two players now have no hope of defending a keep against a group of 6-8.

You know that "mountain in the middle making it look bigger than other zones" argument has been proven completely wrong already right? Someone did a video where they sat down and measured the actual landmass that was accessible not including that mountain, then he did the same to the other zones, it turned out the accessible area of the new zone is roughly 60% more than the biggest of the previous zones.

Did they include the rest of the empty space on the Morrowind map? All of the dwemer ruins that are purely cosmetic and you can't even go in them? This version of morrowind doesn't even include Sheogorad which was in the Original TES Morrowind. Assuming for a second that their calculations were completely accurate, 60% seems like a poor threshold for naming something an "expansion" instead of a DLC.

WOW's first expansion included Ok WOW's first Expansion included 11 new areas, 10 dungeons, 2 New Battlegrounds
and various updates including Jewelry Crafting. Making a bigger ZONE is just a difference in degree, not a difference in kind.

Worth every penny, huh? Yeah I can agree with that:
    • 20$ for the expansion
    • 5$ for nostalgia hype
    • 15$ for "OMG NEW CONTENT MUST BUY NOW!" hype
Wake me up when the hypes are over and Morrowind is on sale.

I never said that it was or wasn't worth the title of an expansion, i was just saying that the picture is grossly inaccurate, the playable area in the new zone is far bigger than previous zones, including orsinium, even with a large chunk of inaccessible areas.

:P just an expression... actually I'm in a 3rd world country and a dollar costs 10 times more here. So yes, I was very worried about spending $40, 10 times mores than you guys. But... this was one of those times I'm really satisfied with a game buy. I repeat, I say it as a TES3 fan. Maybe if you don't care at all you would think different.

About this, while Seyda Neen is too similar to the original game, I can fully understand why they decided to welcome you like this completely for a nostalgia effect.

But the other cities!!! The changes feel remarkably organic. It really is like traveling back in time before TESIII: Vivec is under construction, Balmora seems newer and smaller. I love how the explain that Redoran controls Balmora but the Hlaalu are expanding (to take it in TES3). Seems like the Redoran were pushed by the Hlaalu to take northern lands from the Ashlanders that here in ESO are in Ald'ruhn itself (future Redoran place).

The immersion is oustanding, I'm having trouble trying to remember this effect in a multiplayer game before.

Not really this maybe a 25$ addition to the game . Bigger then a dlc but no where near being called an expansion. Its basically wrotjgar witj a trial a class and some battle grounds that should have been a launch pvp feature. But glad your enjoying it
