Morrowind PvP (non-CP): Medium Armor vs Heavy Armor - Which is better?

In the past, Heavy Armor has generally been more powerful than Medium Armor. This was especially true in Homestead. Does anyone know how this shapes up in Morrowind now with the changes to sustain and armor passives? Will Heavy Armor still maintain a clear advantage?
I ask because I am a console player and am prepping for this patch. Right now I am unsure if I should focus on using 5-piece Medium or 5-piece Heavy in my build due to not knowing if one of them is simply stronger, or if it doesn't really matter and they are more or less equally viable.

✭✭✭✭✭Idk about others but in cp at least I'm going 5 medium 2 heavy. The constitution nerf is awful and without the increases regen from cp I can only see that being worse. ive no desire to play non cp as a stam player with the armor and racial passives that were made0 -
