Having to pay for extra character slots after buying pre-release collectors edition is a con.

As if £50 uk wasn't enough for collectors pre release upgrade. Zenimax should have offered those who paid for the collectors edition something extra, the standard edition comes with extra items for pre-release, so why didn't they provide collectors edition pre-release buyers with free character slots?? the real cost of Morrowind collectors edition with 2 extra slots is £75 for those who have filled there free slots up. really Zenimax be fair. @ZOS_GinaBruno

The answer is Zos could have charged us £75 and tossed in the extra character slots, since nothing is free. Then they'd probably sell less copies. Better to make it ala cart and let us decide if we want to buy an extra slot.Edited by idk on May 22, 2017 8:25PM3 -

This makes sense from a business perspective. However to encourage people to make 2 new characters for mag and stam they should allow additional character slots to be purchased at a discounted price with the purchase of morrowindScipio Numantia Red guard Nightblade PvP- AD

This is the only issue I have with them charging anything for.
Did they make people make 2 of each character, and only give 8 by default no, but it obvious why it's 8.
With an expansion they should be giving you at least 1 if not 2 more slots for free. It's what any other MMO would do @ZOS_GinaBruno0 -

If it makes you feel any better, if you were a new player just buying Morrowind you'd get eight slots.

you were at the maximum number of slots used already before morrowind came out
No where at any time did they mention you would receive an extra slot..that was clear that wasnt part of the package at any time.

Zos listed what came with it. I do not see how they could reasonably put together a list of everything that was not included.1 -
