I really feel as though that if you're going to take away the ability for DK's to stand their ground that you need to give them an ability that will help them escape somewhat comparable to Bolt Escape or Cloak (when it works properly). I'd say the same thing for Templars needs to happen as well. Perhaps reworking a couple of existing skills in the process of doing this would be the best way to go about it.

My idea for DK's would be to rework Wings to remain extended and allow us to glide off of raised terrain. Imagine being chased toward a cliff jumping off and popping wings and gliding safely down to the ground while those chasing you would have to go around (unless of course they too are DK's). Or gliding off of keep walls. No...if you pop wings on the ground you wouldn't be able to just fly away.

My idea for templars is to take one of their existing not-often-used skills and rework it so that it does something similar to the 5 piece bonus set of Meridias Blessed Armor. Make it prohibitively costly, but in a pinch could buy time until reinforcement arrives. Templars do have really good healing...but they lack mobility. This might be somewhat of a compromise. Their mobility wouldn't improve...but in a pinch their attackers are blinded for a short duration.

What do you guys think?

    Well wings has been nerf almost to the point uselessness....just like most of our abilities especially the ones that synergizes with stam....

    Wings with major expedition maybe? Except id rather just have the ability to stand my ground as thats why i chose DK in the first place.

    Although will all these changes each class is becoming more and more similar so before anyone shuts down this ability by saying "thats now how a DK is supposed to be played"; well then tell me how its supposed to be played with all the incoming nerfs.

    The DK is nothing how it was years ago, so maybe yes thats how it was supposed to be played upon release, but not anymore.

    Im still a fan of the wings adding ult regen upon use (battle roar was nerfed anyone so no this is not OP), except ZOS needs to make it actually work first.

    Seems like an intriguing idea, and it would be a weird and interesting approach compared to a lot of the sort of tapioca skills ZOS has been coming up with. It seems like it would be easy enough to implement this:

    * While active, the player takes 50% less fall damage.

    I've always thought wings should reduce fall damage but ti would hardly be a buff that changes the stand-your-ground hypothetical playstyle. Unless DKs are just supposed to hang around tall rocks and cliffs hoping the fights come to them. :D
