I've been extremely stubborn and sticking with stamina heavy builds, even though Stamina has universally been weaker for the majority of ESO's lifespan. I've made the build work for me, and fought damn hard to make stamina work but with this huge nerf on stamina I can no longer make them work. Clearly ZoS want's to funnel all top level play to be magicka builds for whatever reason, and now the only way to be competitive requires Magicka builds. You win ZoS, I give up! I'll run Magicka.

I probably need to delete all my nightblades too. Yay for being forced meta...

I have a stam NB that I only ever took to level 30. Should I just abandon this build and focus on my mag sorc?

Care to elaborate? Which nerf in particular are you talking about? This patch cycle has seen more optimism about endgame stamina builds than we've had for some time. Stamina DK is looking good, and someone posted their 44k DPS test dummy result on a stamina nightblade the other day.

I'm talking about PVP and all of the Stamina nerfs. Sorc's still have infinite sustain, while my sustain has been almost halved. I've been on the PTS since it started and haven't seen anything related to optimism for the Stamina changes.

Honestly, a lot of the changes, while understandable, came at a very bad time for Stamina builds in general.

Stamina builds in general were already dead at end game PvE so increasing the cost of all stamina abilities, on top of even higher cost increases to several skills, such as volley, and the removal of cost reduction just made Stamina even less likely to compete in end game content. This also affected PvP as now, we outright HAVE to kill you within seconds or we're going to run out of stamina very quickly.

The slap on the wrist changes to Sorc sustain or survivability, while all other classes were gutted in one form or another (or even several forms) doesn't do much to ease this feeling of dread. It's like kicking a dog on it's last legs.

And regardless of what build you feel forced to run, your resources will severely limit your game play.

This whole update is atrocious from beginning to end...

Idk what you guys are talking about. Everyone got nerfed very hard and the best Pvp class in the game is Stam warden, it's not even close either.

As you switch to Magicka in PvP, I'll change to Stam in PvP, because you cant take a Resource as a Magicka Class.

Maybe for PVE but not for PVP where Stamina skills, as a whole, are stronger than Magicka skills and have been for over two years now.

Stamina might be weaker in end game PvE but Stamina has since inception been better at PvP.

Ok, so what changes specifically hit Stam builds that wasn't a buff?

Assuming you are PvP focused based on the "heavy" comment probably meaning you wear heavy armor, your probably better off in general and just have to make the sustain adjustments all of us are required to do.

Lmao stamina builds are still very good.

Have you actually tried adjusting your build or have you jumped into battlegrounds with last patch build, couldn't sustain?

Stam builds are still very good in morrowind, even in heavy.
