VMA Poor Drops - Too Many Poor Traits (Repeating Same Trait)

I am really vey angry with this lunatic drop system, I am just farming lighting Sharpen staff and not getting even after 150+ runs (post homestead)

Today i got like 6 charged weapons in a row, what the hell i am going to do with charge 1h, 2x 2h sword, lighting or Restro

I have all drops and will share video, how bad is this grind system. VMA is making me sick, I am tired of seeing it 100 of times for single sharpen staff and why the hell traits like charge even exist!

ZOS has created this race for sharpen trait and ignoring other traits balance.

Every trip to VMA waste 1 hour and ZOS is wasting 1000 of players hours in this crazy grinding system!

I have every weaon in every trait except lighting and 2h sword which i am neber going to get!

Everyone knows VMA drops are hell it's all RNG I ran it 400+ times since it came out and that was even when there was only a chance of getting a weapon in the last chest. I have every weapon from there with the best traits and on top of that it took me 1 year just to get a sharpened inferno staff just to run ithe right after just to get another one but really I don't know why ppl are still crying over VMA drops when everyone who does VMA knows that the drop rate is terrible but if you want good weapons all you have to do is put if work

Don't run it then? Why would you play content in a game that upsets you?

Dunno why they would make bis gear for pvp only attaineable through endless pvegrind either, zos are dumb imo.

if it makes you feel better, apparently infused is the way to go for next patch, which im sure we all have like 10 staves and greatswords already

What? Infused is only the way to go for Dual Wield stamina builds and even then only on one weapon!

I got sharpened lightning and flame staff in under 10 runs. I'd be happy except i only play Stam... no other sharpened weapons in 20 more runs.

For me it was infused everything and not a single staff drop. You just need to decide for yourself if it's worth running or not. For me personally it's not because I would rather spend my limited game time doing other things.

Charged is like 80% of all drops lol. Replace charged with precise and that'll solve alot of issues. Precise wont be bis next patch but it will certainly be much more viable. Getting a million usable ones over a million pieces of *** whilst looking for the top drop certainly sounds appealing.

It's the quintessence of stupidity, assuming that ESO wants people to play VMA. But you should have read about this issue in the forum first, and stopped playing VMA after the first 10-20 times you tried. I don't even bother to try it. I just file VMA in the category of yet another map that could have been great but ruined by the devs, like the grey and colorless IC dlc, or the boring sand maps of the DB and TG dlcs. Have the same attitude toward Morrowind btw, no high hopes. Just taking what the devs give us, and wait for a better mmo to be released (because SWTOR, GW2 and FF14 are unplayable, imo, after getting used to ESO on ultra with a high-end gaming rig).

Just got another charged bow, what a dissapointment!

Can anyone explain what this useless trait charged is for?

As lightning staff only have some use! Restro infused withh shocking glpyh is good alternative though.

Last 5 drops, defending 2 x axe, powered ice staff, descive maul, decesive, decesive bow, charged lighting staff.

My last 15 drops no infused, sharpen, prrcise and nirnhoned

Ive only ran it 20 times and i got sharpened great sword, flame staff, and lightning… I got those all before i got a single bow drop. Sadly i only play stam so i still want my sharpened daggers, bow, and maul.

Add my psn to trade me sharpened maul for sharpened staves

They Keep saying they want diversity in builds and they also make sure that only sharpened is the only choice for DPS and the drop rate for those are abysmal , idiots. 200+ runs and yet to get a Sharpened Bow or Staff , the only game that Punishes you For Completing a hard end content by giving you obsolete gear. It actually would be better if they just did not drop any weapon than to give a charged maelstrom bow , WTF does this do ?

Honestly i agree with this post. The problem isn't necessarily the maelstrom drop table, the problem is the fact that ZOS has implemented only one useful trait for weapons.

If other traits were on an even playing field then the drop table would be a lot more rewarding.
