Hmmm... Are you an ESO+ member? just curious if ESO+ is coss-server. If it is the case they might be able to create a section similar to ESO+ that tracks Account Expansions/DLCS/Etc. Purchased.

Wonder if the same is true for costumes.

You dont need to purchase it twice.

You only need to purchase it twice when you play lets say on console AND PC. Because those are two differnt platforms.

IF you play EU PC and you wanna go NA PC, then you only need 1 copy obviously.

I am an ESO+ member, yes, although I've now cancelled the renewal. Played on and off since launch.

This is nothing new. Account purchases were always server-specific. It's a stupid policy at its core.

how can this be true for morrowind you apply a code to your account and cannot specify if the code is eu or na so this has to be wrong info from support

Accounts are not cross-server, so activating morrowind on one account is in essence the same as activating it for that server. EU an NA are completely separate system-wise, as far as I know.

I think this is wrong. You can use the same account (@...) on both servers. And Morrowind is account-bound, not server-bound.

I only play on PC. Just saying what I was told. You say "obviously", but I'm being told different by support.

Yes we do. Because if you asked "Can I play on the PC server and XBOX server with one copy of Morrowind?" It will skew the answer to what you want and not what this thread is about.

Hmm... Perhaps this could be an issue that would need to be brought up seriously.

Question, if you go to your account page, What version of ESO does it say you have? (top-right).

Looks like a case of confusing PC EU/NA server with platforms. PC account is not tied to either EU or NA and unlocking Morrowind is a simple code entry with no prompt to opt for either server, so I wouldn't even know where and when that supposed lock were to take place.

yeah, having to pay twice for the normal dlc's was a rip-off already but at least everyone knew about it before purchase but if this is true and people do have to pay twice for the so called " expansion" then zos is seriously taking the ***, although if untrue then I don't care

I literally cannot understand why would someone make accounts on both NA an EU and juggle between them rather than focusing on one main account and actually made something out of it and their interactions with players there.

If you live in EU, have an EU account. If you live in NA, have a NA account. That's how the system was designed and that's how it's normal.

Because you can play on both. Your account is not specific to one.

I don't play any of my characters on NA anymore but they're still there. If I were to magically move back to America I'd probably still play on EU.

The system was designed so you could play on both.

I did specifically have to have my country changed though so both of our accounts were charged in the same currency. That's the only thing country dictates.

So, it seems like you haven't bought Morrowind, on the PC at least. Was your issue that it wasn't cross platform? (PC/PS4/XBOX)

The question involved my account details, you don't need to know it. The quote about having to pay twice is a self-contained sentence for which context would not change the meaning, however much you want it to mean something different. I'm not saying the information is definitely correct. I'm saying it's what I've been told and it's ***.

Today I also cancelled my sub, but for a different reason. Just because they managed to nerf my 3rd toon, my pet sorc ... that I was "working" on for months and for which I spent more than 500.000 gold to gear up and countless hours of farming.

What I'm hoping is that I've been misinformed. If I can't get correct info from support then a dev post here clearing it up would be ideal. But this is a deal breaker for me.

If Indeed your problem is that it isn't Cross-Platform, that's due to PC/PS4/XBOX being separate vendors from one another. If they allow sales by other vendors to increase server load on their end with no benefit for them, it'd be bad for business (PS4=>XBOX or XBOX=>PS4). Though in the case of Console to PC transition, I can't say for certain what PC's loss would be.

There is no such thing as "NA account" or "EU account" there's only "PC account with NA/EU server".
