Retailoring: Come on ZoS it doesnt hurt anyone

We have struggled with the limited access that ZoS provides in terms of cosmetics abilities. Its time for us to ask ZoS for the ability to retailor any armor and any weapon into any style we want... even if it means spending extra crowns.

We call to all ESO players all over the world to band together and demand what we want! Let's make ZeniMax Online Studios listen to what we want!

The concept of this would be to be able to retailor all armor pieces and weapons to any style they have already in their library (learnt motifs only) using one or more style materials again this doesnt have any affect on costumes due to the fact that only certain people use costume to look different from the armor styles. This doesnt have to be a crown store option but an achievement but the way things I see it... it could also be ESO+ exclusive these are my thoughts

I'd edit the thread name and take out the link if you want it to stay open, as it says "petition" it's likely to get locked as petitions are not allowed.

I do agree with you but not enough to risk a forum ban over it.

And no I am not being "forum police", I have not reported this or anything, I'm just giving an opinion on what I think will happen with this thread, even though I think the subject itself is worth discussion.

Not if you need to buy special stones for every piece of armor you want to transform into a new style.

Finally i cant see longer the sense to lkearn motifs if i finally wear a Costume because the Dropset is so ugly i cant accept to wear it.

But in a petition i see no sense. The only Petition that works is to leave the game. Sadly this topic is important to me but not important to leave the game. Only a huge glas more into the barrel.

(Hope in english there is a saying too "The Drop that make the Barrel runs over")

@Exterminatus i don't need an argument for wanting sumething

Trough my statement you may feel my resignation, but not my support for the current ongoing.

I'd love to put all the styles i collected to use and don't have to put the "BiS" gear under a costume, which even hides the tabard.

No. It just seems you are unable to understand what he ia saying.

You said it doesn't hurt anyone. But it DOES. It hurts the crownstore, because when people can make themselves look awsome by 'retailoring' their gear, there will be much less need to buy crown crates and costumes from the store. In other words: Less money for ZO$. It is that simple. Period.

I'm mostly going by stuff that has been locked previously, it's ok to have a discussion about stuff but not in any formalised petition sort of way. Before you roast me, please understand it is not me enforcing anything, I'm just another poster here same as you - I'm just giving an opinion that this thread may not stay open very long - I think it is something worth having a conversation about and would like to see it stay open

Yeah, a transmogrification feature would be very much appreciated!

It would make a perfect perk to spend a skill point on for level 50 crafters, to allow them to change the style of any gear to any style they learned (thus making crown store styles more attractive...), by using resources, most likely including some super-rare "transformative" resource (think perfect roe or nirncrux rare - and then, again, sold in the crown store for those with less patience then crowns)

Nope. You can make suggestions, start discussions, do some brainstorming, make surveys of player opinions even, but there are a few things the powers that be don't want to see here, and petitions or protests are among them.
Always a good thing to keep in mind - the Forum Rules... less hassle for the mods if you pay attention to them, less hassle for you if they don't have to lock one of your discussions or censor one of your posts, right?

So it means they have more stuffs to sell in the crown store, meaning it doesn't "hurt" the crown store.

But it isn't actually a period. For example if I could change my equipment style I might buy crown motifs which are mostly useless as I see it now. Motifs are generally more expensive then costumes. More money.

Second as someone else pointed out, if they went the GW2 way of doing things. They could sell packs of transmog stones that allow you to change your equipment styles. More money.

Anywho I actually don't think they can do it. Just like the items you have now that let you change items into imperial style, and the upcoming one in morrowind, only work on some items. Id say however they put the game together prevents it.

And if you can't change the ugly ass monster sets or the ugly set items, wasting time putting in a transmog system is pointless.
