They said they were looking in to it. I.E. "We are gonna wait a year before we do anything about this."

No and there is no real reason for this. The reason that 2h are not competitive right now is not because of the lack of 5/5/2, it is 100% the skills in the skill line, they are not good enough for pve dps right now but 2h with be in a better place next patch. Note this is about the two handed weapon skill line, not any other ones, the other ones are just fine.

Tbh i like the 2h skills per se, i just think the numbers and passives need some tweaking

No. One weapon is one set piece how is this hard to understand. Thats why theres a bonus to using duel wield or 1h/s because you're able to get that one more set bonus. Also this would render maelstrom weapons obsolete because why would i use maelstrom 2h in PVP when i can get another set bonus, say from hundings rage?

This would ruin build diversity as everyone would almost be using the same 2 sets, combined with the same monster set.

One weapon = One set piece.

They need to look into this.

Would be cool to play Ranger in High end PVP and PVE with bow on both bars

Actually I think it would open up a lot of build diversity. Though 2H setups would be op in pvp. But on the other hand would level the field between stam users and mag sorcs as they currently are.

Except you're forgetting that any staff would then count as 2 set pieces, and they can range weave force pulse with medium attacks all while having increased damage or more spell pen. I think it would further the playing field between stam and mag as thats one spot where stam had an advantage (receiving one more set bonus).

Always entertaining to see people write "A weapon is ALWAYS one set piece, that is how it SHOULD be", inclining that their personal opinion gets to decide the matter at hand.

Looks like someone took some offence. Where did I state that I had an expert opinion? But since you asked, personally I don't really care how they do it since I don't need two more slots in any build that uses a 2H (which only is in PvP). If it creates more diversity and more options, and at the same time can be implemented without breaking the game balance (which ZOS often has trouble doing) then why not?

And yet while many Stamina characters can utilize gear sets in the 5/5/2 layout, us Magic people are missing out on that extra 5pc bonus. "Build Diversity" is nothing more than being handicapped by not playing a certain way.

    Give us Jewelry Crafting.

Let 2Handed weapons count as 2 pieces.

It would do nothing but ease frustrations with our builds.
