Vvardenfell will come with homes, but what about existing DLC areas?

I was just wondering if there are any plans to include homes for Wrothgar, Hew's Bane, and the Gold Coast? There's a lot of potential in these areas. Wrothgar could have an Orc Stronghold or fortress. Hew's Bane can have a smuggler's cove near the ocean or various hideouts all over. The Gold Coast could have that seaside imperial home that I've always wanted....The Gold Coast is one of my favorite regions in this game. Aesthetically, I think the Gold Coast is one of the most beautiful areas in the game and I would rather wait for a home there then sinking my gold in the current housing locations once Homestead is available on consoles.

I would certainly bet that there will be homes added in the DLC locations eventually; as well as unique furnishings and landscapings.

There is potential for many additions; not the least of which is a Manor for each race; and it would make sense for the Orc one to be in Wrothgar, for example.

I like the idea of manors based on each race. It would also be cool if your home became the backdrop for your character on the load character screen.

I certainly hope so, though I would like an apparent/medium sized house in Orsinium rather than a stronghold. We already got two Orc strongholds im Bangkorai. Time to give us city Orcs something to play with :)

Some of the announcements specifically said that all the houses in the initial release will be in non-DLC zones. Which makes me think they're planning to add houses to DLC zones later but wanted the first 'set' to be available to everyone.

But they haven't said anything about it directly so we don't know what kind of houses they might be or when they might be released. But it's something a lot of players have expressed an interest in so I'm sure it'll come eventually.

I'd like some actual Cyrodil Gold Coast style homes. My favorite TES game was Oblivion, and they did a good job making the Gold Coast similar in style, so I would want a home there.

They will probably not release houses in Dlc area for the same reason that they didn't include morrowind in with eso+. What would happen if your eso+ lapsed and you no longer had access to the dlc, what would happen with your house. That was the excuse for not having morrowind (and warden) as a Dlc and instead made it a chapter and made eso+ pay for it.

The same that happens if you buy a morrowind house with crowns without having morrowind, you would still have access to the house and when leaving would get ported to you last location in a zone you have access to.

I feel I should address this statement. Morrowind is not purchasable with crowns. Only with cash. So that you don't ever lose access to the warden class or the houses in vvardenfell.

Wrothgar needs that trap door near the dwemer public dungeon to open up as a dwemer cave house. I would love to decorate a super villian esk lair amongst all the dwarven machines

Ah I see now. Misread my bad. And I learned something. Didn't know you could buy a morrowind house without owning morrowind. How odd. To live in a home, in a land you can't see or set foot in.

Loved Anvil, one of my favorite towns in Oblivion and it made sense street plan was the same but houses was changed as it should be after 700 years.

Are you able to though? I can't test this since I have it preordered.
