Which ability animations don't you like and what would you change them too?

I really dislike force shock, I feel it just needs to be a elemental ball of the staff type with maybe a dot.

I dislike the wizzy gray thing around the destro ulti. You can see the Sharpe corners, looks like a hexagon. Remove it :p the animation is lovely with out it.

Jabs, always disliked the look of it. Dislike how my weapons disappear, maybe a one hand magical lance? Whilst still seeing your weapons on your back or just one hand or shield. Or a yellow spectric style version of the weapon equipt that does a rapid attack of 5 hits.

    Destro Ulti is horrible just doesn't feel connected.

    Drunk personality is the same, like feet are stitiched to the ground

    Streak with the pause at the end (ignoring current bug)

    Overload when it jams on (otherwise overload mode is the best thing animation wise about being a sorc. Giving.Voriak a swift elbow to the head to finish him Mortal Kombat style in vMSA feels SWEET

    Snipe. The arc makes it look ridiculous, especially when you do it literally 5 feet away from the target. The max range of that skill wouldn't even require an arc.

    Also, it's not really an ability animation, but I hate the male sit animation/pose. Dunno if it's different per gender or per race, but the khajiit one always makes you look grumpy.

    Roll dodge. It is way too stiff looking.

    Templar's puncturing strikes and morphs. It's really unimaginative, it's just 3 or 4 jabs in the same motion.

    I wish Zenimax would've used motion capture instead. It makes the animations so much smoother.

    I don't like any of the ability animations. They should all be removed. These "theatrics" of visual representation seem to be counter to doing magic.

    Why do a bunch of purple rocks need to appear for using Frag? Why not just deliver the blow without the theatrics?

    If I deliver a spell of fire, you should only feel yourself burning. Otherwise, the flame just screams "Hey! Look! I'm going to hit you with a fire ball! Why don't you do something about it, like dodge or something!"

    Pfft.

    Templar:
    I think the aedric spear abilities shouldnt be a glowing light-spear. Instead, it should be a physical spear that looks a little ornamental, maybe made of gold or something.

    Sorceror:
    Should have different options for pet appearances. Maybe make one of the twilight morphs a daedroth, and the unstable familiar morph into a dremora.

    Dragonknight:
    Wish the stamina morphs looked more like green fire instead of poison. Also wish that, if you had those stamina morphs, similar visual effects were applied to other utility abilities you might use as a stamina dk. Chains should be green, the stamina morph for inferno should be green, etc.

    Nightblade:
    Would like if the melee attack abilities (surprise attack, killers blade, the assassination ultimate, etc.) had a physical weapon like the blade of woe instead of a red transparent blade.

    Warden:
    I want a senche, not a bear.

    2 handed sword, axe, blunt weapon, heavy attack needs changed animation to a over the head shot that is almost instant. instead of the 3 minute long thing we have now.

    Flurry, it's so clearly a stabbing motion that I simply can't use maces or axes for dualwield, it just looks too stupid.

    Try /sit2, /sit3, /sit4 and /sit5. Yep, that's a thing.

    i will like Consuming Darkness follow the nb


    and will like Path of Darkness to be one aura, the same of Hurricane (but like always just the sorc have everything in this
    game ) this 2 skill charge i will be able to build one ravager and reaver character :) and a lot of dark build :) but now this 2 skill are so useless and not really use , i will change 1- Fiery Grip (Morph) for stamina same for 1 Dark Talons , changing the fire effect for poison or bleed effect ,

    I'd just like to be able to reduce the intensity of the flashy.

    I can't see to interrupt or block with it all going and I haven't seen an option to turn down spell effects.

    Lynx I think your on to something here. I too would like to see the light spear an actual spear. That is unless they decide to put in actual spear and polearms at some point. Also like someone else mentioned jabs is just unimaginative and boring looking...they need to fix that. I run Templar mainly for the spear but it's not very creative.

    Force pulse like the OP mentioned is pretty bad looking too. They really need to do something with it. For a ranged optional spammable for mag it looks weak and hits weak. I'd be happy if they added .5 a second for the chargeup if it would do a bit more damage to make up for it.

    Warden living vines looks half assed too. It should show the vines coming from the ground around you. Not looking like a boa around your torso.

    Their shroom heal animation too is pretty lame...

    I was really hoping the warden would have had a tangling vine CC but once again i felt let down. Sometimes I wish they would look at some of GW2 skills since alot of those you can tell they took time creating.
