i suggest the devs get an acct with secondlife and/or rift to see a better way of placing items. secondlife is better than rift, but rift is acceptable.

Maybe if they paid you a 1000 a month crown stipend you could show them.

i believe there is a add on you can use that helps with lining things up but not sure what it's called maybe someone in the community does.

Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.

not just lining up, the entire way of placing sux. as i said, both rift and secondlife have much better placement systems.

Having come from using the construction set in Oblivion and Skyrim, and the GECK in Fallout, item placement in this game feels laughably primitive. I miss having fine control over the X, Y, Z position of stuff. Here it's just drag 'n' pray. :/

@Iarao, the flaw in the ESO placement system is that the selected object attaches to your character. This means you are trying to place the object along an arc...sort of like being inside a balloon and trying to place an object somewhere on the walls of the balloon. There is no true up/down, front/back, left/right object placement in this game because the selected object is not independent of your character. This is, indeed, is a primitive method. You are totally right that the Second Life build tools are far superior, and I would imagine most games that have housing/building features have better placement tools.
