Alcast normally has pretty solid builds. He has a lot of game experience as well as experienced players around him to help out with builds.
Be aware he's actually updating all of his builds later this week or early next week (I think) as Morrowind has changed the meta quite a bit.
I would say yes though go with his builds as he gives good entry builds as well as best in slot ones, if you find another build later you can always change to it.

If I would want to follow someone's builds(that spends a lot of time theorycrafting them) it would definitely be Alcast's. Guy's got tons of experience and he updates his builds often, when there's new(better) stuff added.
Since you recently started the game, go onto Alcast's YouTube and watch the Beginner Guide-videos. They'll definitely help if you find yourself a bit "stuck" on what to do or how things work.

I like my Stamina nb Werwolf Setup(basically very tanky setup with average damage) i run with. Since i usually operate around high AOE Areas and with small groups running the normal Stamblade Setup usually is not very recommendable(Yesterday in a outpost fight i clocked 6k average aoe damage incomeing every second for 3 min strait) . Just send me a mail if your interrested in this setup "marvinkuchenbecker@gmail.com" . Sofar its been very sucessfull even in bad situations. The Werwolf is incredibly strong if you know how to handle it and its weeknesses. Cause with this setup instead of buffing the already strong damage with the Werwolf i choose to cancel out the weeeknesses with armor setups and its working like a dream. Something different and sofar i havent seen any Stamblade on my alliance or on the enemy alliance running a simular setup. And i always like beeing unique it makes it harder for the people trying to kill you to predict your mooves. for example if you fight a magblade its always the same rotation 90 percent of the time. DESPOTIC made a nice comment in his last video about this(pedictability of almost all setups in pvp). Another example Mag DKs its always a lot of taleons, burning breath fire claws, inhale and Feroushious leap. So usually if you see 1 Mag dk setup youve seen all of them. Same things with Sorcs, Templars and Nb. I enjoy seeing people thinking out of the box and applaud them for doing so(I nibbled at a very interresting person running a melee Magblade setup in PvP).
I sencerely apologise for my english its not my native language.
